We pulled into Mitchell for some gas and decided to stop at this cool looking little thrift store. We were greeted by the owner who told us to make ourselves at home and take your time looking around, she then left and came back a few minutes later and started telling us about the history of the place which use to be the town saloon, the first two "rooms" were kinda scary with your standard outdoor garage sale type of stuff and the main room was nicely painted and decorated, lot's of fun old stuff to look through. There was a really cool 1950's Schwinn bike that we wanted but it was a bit overpriced. If your ever passing through it's worth a stop in, the owner is a nice lady and will tell you everything and more you wanted to know about the area. read more
