Kim is an awesome nail expert , I will only let her work on my nails and feet. Another excellent spa worker is Sabrina, she did an excellent job on my daughter's feet. She has terrible toe nails. It's been a while since we've been here. Hoping to see Judy only to find out she doesn't own the shop anymore. We my cousin and I made an appointment to get our "toes did". Sabrina was very late and seemed to try to "catch up", leaving one of us with an awful experience. I asked for deluxe for both of us and paid way too much for what we got. The shop was more of a gift shop than manicures. The place was so over done in merchandise. It looked like Temu threw up. Never again. read more

Judys Nail Spa is the CEANEST nail salon that I have found in Cookeville with a health inspection rating of perfection to prove it! That matters 100% to me. The vibe is pure relaxation! There are appts available for massage and waxes, too. Kim does the majority of my pedicures, and I am always pleased. I like the walk-in option for customers. However, they are usually busy and it is always good to make an appt if possible. read more

First time but not last time. Best gel manicure ever. Staying good even after 3 weeks. Staff very friendly unless they get hangry! Ha! I had Ms Kim and was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere at the spa was super welcoming!

New to area and Judy's was first choice. Had appointment @ 11. Had a walk in, just as I arrived. Seated us both. We sat 20-30 minutes for Pedi to begin. My Tech left me midway, another tech finished. Walk in's Tech left her for another customer for 15-20 minutes We had no "Welcome" no "introduction". DISAPPOINTED NO Refreshments offered during our "Pampering" Service - - NONE! Review photos on Yelp, showed "Flute of Blush"... On Mani, Gel Polish done, Tech couldn't remember how many times my nails had been under Light... Nails left with "bumps" in Polish and Polish left on sides of nails. Tech lacked "all" supplies needing to "borrow" another's supplies Could tell "Regulars"... as Conversations/Laughter galore! Came here during a visit from California and was so pleasantly surprised by this gorgeous space, great service, and genuine hospitality of this place! I got a pedicure, manicure SNS (dipped nail polish, wanted to try it!), and all the works facial and felt absolutely spoiled! They have a nice contraption that blows hot misty air on your face while pedicure is being done- talk about efficiency! Judy checked in on me several times herself. Plus, they serve wine! Loved the whole experience with kind workers and great service--would highly recommend it. read more

i did love this spa until about 4 days of having an $125 nails done they started lifting and popping off. i mean it was a waste of my money and they almost wouldn't cover the refill showing through the nails i barley got 2 coats . read more

I absolutely loved this place!! I made an appointment for 11am, before i could even walk in the doors they welcomed me and sat me down immediately. I got a pedicure and nexgen nails. Terrible customer service. Walked in and asked for a mani pedi, was told might night have time and asked if I could come back in a couple of hours, I said yes, no problem, then lady told me she could fit me in and directed me to a chair. After my pedi was completed was told they were unable to do my mani & I was forced to leave with half painted nails. Owner (man) very rude and unprofessional not apologetic. Never had such a terrible experience at a nail salon. I will never return or recommend. read more

I took my fiancé and her sister to get a pedicure and sat there for almost 2 hours for then to tell us that the other customer that came in after us had to be done first. They were not busy when we went in, maybe 4 people in the building. They did another couple that did not have appointments that came in after us, after sitting an hour and a half my fiancé said something and they responded with, "that's why you make appointment." They told us we would have to come back with an appointment, after waiting 2 hours. If they told us that at first I wouldn't not have been so annoyed but after wasting two hours of my time I'm a bit disappointed. read more

I took my 7 yr old for Pedicure and manicure ask for gel as soon as we got home the gel started popping off! I called the salon and was told to drive back over which is 30 miles one way,two trips is 120 miles. A good business would have said send me a pic and when you come back we will make it right! oh! did I say we've been going there for 3 years! that was our last trip! Horrible service. My daughters were visiting from south Florida, made their appointments, and the nail techs were complaining because my girls wanted longer nails, still made them wait for 2 hours, one of my daughters had her feet in pedicure water for 1 hour without anyone attending to her!! and on top of that they were assisting folks that walked in! One of the techs said she was frustrated because my girls wanted longer nails and that "takes time"!! I mean what nail tech says that!!! Very unprofessional! We are paying for a service, and one of the technicians rushed through once she began service for nails and feet, needless to say what my girls paid was not worth the service they provided. This was such poor poor service, I have never known of a nail salon in such a small town to give such horrible service. This will not be a place I would ever recommend or go to. read more

My 84 year old father has been going to Judy's Nails in Cookeville for many years. He now has dementia. The last two visits have been unpleasant due to the attitude of the man that checks you in. We did a walk in on a Tuesday morning thinking it wouldn't be busy. After much complaining about not having an appointment, the ladies were kind enough to fit him in. My Dad's sitter to him yesterday, after I had made an appointment, and this man was complaining that we had no appointment and was extremely rude to my Dad and the sitter. She did leave thinking he was getting his service, but returned to the parking lot to find my Dad had walked out and was getting ready to cross a busy street. The ladies at this spa have always been kind to my Dad and have even walked him out to my car several times. Unfortunately, we will not return to this spa where my Dad has been going and is familiar with the ladies because of the attitude of this man. I don't know if he's the owner or not, but he has such an unpleasant disposition that we cannot return. read more
