I went into this store around 3 PM one day because they supposedly carry a brand of wigs I like. I asked for the one I wanted but they didn't carry it so they showed me something they had in stock. I tried it on and liked it, so made the purchase for over $260. When I got home, I noticed it had shed several fibers onto my clothing. No big deal. I took it out of the plastic zipper bag when I got home and shook it out to put it on a wig stand and noticed several more fibers falling. I've never had a wig shed like that. I didn't know the company name so looked them up online and David Mitchell Co went OUT OF BUSINESS in 2017. So the wig is at least 4.5 to 5 years old and starting to break down. The next morning, took the wig off the stand and several more fibers fell. Went back to the store right after they opened (less than 24 hours after purchase) to return. They acted like they had never seen me before and refused a return. She ran a brush through it and it lost a dozen more fibers. She tried to tell me it's normal for a wig to shed that much. I have NEVER had a wig shed like that, especially one that cost that much. At the rate it's losing fibers, it's going to be as bald as the top of my head in a month. Feeling I had no recourse, I disputed the charges with my credit card and they eventually conceded and the charges were refunded but the complete lack of customer service led me to leave this review to balance the one other review. Also, be aware that they charge an additional surcharge for using a credit card. There are shoddy, hand written signs on the wall saying so, but they were placed well out of my eyeline and I didn't see them. If I had, I would have walked out right then.

If you are new to the concept of braids, DO NOT choose this braider!!…read more I scheduled an appointment, made a deposit and provided a picture of the style that I was requesting. The owner quickly responded and after a couple of exchanges via text, provided a price for the service, and set an appointment. At the appointment, the owner/braider again asked me what I wanted and I reminded her of the photo that was provided earlier that day. I mentioned to her that I didn't want my hair braided tightly so as to avoid breakage. She asked me about knotless braids (I have no idea what the difference is). I told her that I wanted what was in the picture with the exception of the hair color. I wanted a natural color. As the appointment progressed, she asked me about curly ends. The picture that was provided contained braided ends. I told her that I wanted a professional looking style. SHE decided that I needed curly ends. Long story made short, wound up with a style that was NOTHING like what I wanted. After the appointment, I was charged $50.00 more than we initially discussed. I contacted the owner/braider and informed her that due to the fact that I was not comfortable with the style, I removed the braids. She never took responsibility but instead blamed me for the situation and said that since I'd removed the braids there was nothing that she could do to remedy the situation. She failed to understand that the fixing of the ends that she offered wouldn't take care of the fact that the braids were not right. After providing a picture of what I wanted, there should have been no further suggestions or discussions about the style from her. I question the owner's business ethics, especially after being upcharged. BEWARE if frequenting this establishment. There will be no conflict resolution and an upcharge.

It was beautiful of course but then i got tired of curling it so i wet it in the shower and it's naturally curly and still beautiful. Only issue is when we (me and my two daughters) first got the hair it smelled like corn chips. There was a guy who sold us the hair. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and he didn't try to over sell us hair. Told us how many bundles we'd be needing and that was it. The whole experience was good.
