I never thought I'd even care to do that sorta thing, but once you find an item or collectible that interested in finding, it becomes this mildly addictive "hunt" to visit new stores, talk to shop owners, and discover this treasure that you 'need' We were in Jamestown coincidentally on July 4th as the town was setting up for a Main Street vendor soiree. This antique store has a bit o' everything from hats, vintage toys, dog shaped night lights, mermaid decor, etc. The store could use a little more organization. It felt mildly cramped which can lead to feelings of claustrophobia while antique shopping, but overall, mom/daughter were sweet, helpful, and quaint.

I am fully in my antique shopping era!…read more I have mentioned in other antique/vintage stores reviews, that I recently started shopping for Uranium glass, so I'm constantly on the hunt now. While in Sonora visiting friends this past weekend, we decided to do some exploring of the downtown area. We stopped into Antiques Etcetera to see if they had any, and we definitely came to the right place! They had a nice display case full of Uranium glass, and it took me a while to decide what I wanted to take home, but I finally decided on a fun mixing bowl since I did not already own one - for only $40 too! Aside from the Uranium glass, they also had lots of items from Pyrex bowls (another favorite of mine) to different styles and sizes of jars to Fiesta ware and even a whole wall of cowboy boots! All priced pretty fair too! I felt overwhelmed in a good way looking at everything! The staff were also very friendly and offered great advice! Looking back at my photos, I should have bought more Uranium - at least I know where to shop next time we are visiting downtown Sonora! We'll be back! Check them out!

It was nice seeing some really old toys too which brought back memories. Everyone was nice and they even had shopping carts for adults and children! Was very cute to see. They also half half off a certain color tag which made it more fun. It's nice to see more used things vs a stand of new full prices items that many thrift stores do these days.
