I had to have a new motor put in my vehicle after my old one died on me. Mike immediately diagnosed the problem, ordered me a low-mile engine, and installed it in less than a week. Car runs like new. Great customer service and very friendly crew. Was expecting to pay an arm and a leg but the pricing is fair. Highly recommended. read more

After talking with Michael last fall, I decided to hire him to install a brand new engine in my 2004 Ford Explorer. He installed it in late January and he did an excellent job within a reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable price. My old motor had 202,000 miles on it and it was beginning to run bad with no power. This is the best money that I have spent in a very long time! I highly recommend him to repair your vehicle!!!! read more

I can say from meeting the owner and always seeing cars packed into his garage and parking lot that this is someone I would seek out to fix my car. I'm not from Beattyville but I know what it's like to travel far from home with a less then reliable car. When that dreaded rattle hits my ears this is exactly the kind of garage that I try to find. Approachable owner, well reputed by locals and others who have been to his garage themselves and someone I know will give me a fair and personal price (meaning that he is seeking to serve my needs and not just make a blanket profit). I have not had to use his services yet (thankfully) so I don't have a testimonial about his work on my car but to all those who are taking advantage of Lee County's beautiful hills, hollers and rock-climbing walls I know your car might be smoking a bit on the way! After talking to Judd about his business he informed me and Amber that he gets rock climbers who stop in all the time. They continue to pass through because he offers very good service. Judd is very friendly and listens to his customers. He listened to Amber and I very closely and was willing to try something he had never done before. His brother runs with shop with him and he to was very helpful. The place is a very friendly one and they are very knowledgeable about their work. read more
