Friendly and nice selection in the humidor that takes up a whole wall. Introduced me to a great Plascencia stick called Alma de Cielo.

A friend who is from here recommended it to us on the fly. Appearance/Ambiance It looks like very nice. Like it would be an amazing night spot go go dancing out. Great looking tables and chairs and island bar display. -Great background music. Service Waitress is very friendly. Glad my wife speaks Spanish as they are more fluent. It was hard to get a refill on our drinks. When we did they were not with ice so they were warm. Had to ask for a cup of ice. Covid precautions -no temp checks on way in. Waitress wore a mask when near us, but not other times. The rest of the staff did not all the time and other times wore it over their mouth only, leaving their nose uncovered. Other staff as they came in and started working did not wear masks. Also the kitchen staff were never wearing a mask, the multiple times the doors opened. For an island very strict you'd think they would enforce that more here. Food Appetizers- fish bites and queso fritas which were both very good fried food. I enjoyed both. Dinner Sirloin steak. Requested well done. Received medium, super chewy steak. Had to send it back to get it finished. Over all the steak was pretty much horrible. Clearly frozen and not fresh. No seasoning. Bolognese pasta. This wasn't horrible. It was solidly OK. The complaint on the food was that the sauce was so very salty. Half as much salt would be perfect. It came with tostones on the side. Dinner Meals came out 10 minutes apart from each other. Means one of use has to have an extremely cold meal or eat alone. Then when steak was uncooked it was 20 minutes apart. How is this ok and normal? I'm not sure they understand that this takes away from the dinner experience. Why not plan appropriately to bring dishes together ? Miscellaneous -Bathrooms were out of toilet paper and paper towels. After informing the waitress, nothing happened and never saw anyone go to change these things. -There's a chirping from a battery operated smoke detector going off in background. -Flies noticeable around the place. Overall I hope it's better other times if the day. We went early for dinner around 5pm. The appetizers were fresh. Maybe I had the wrong things. Appetizers and drinks were the best part.

Food was all very good, there was only one person working the bar and floor so definitely have patience, he was still very attentive. Drinks were also really good. They use instant coals for hookah. Also FYI the churrasco nachos were good but we were surprised they were $26 since it was a special no price listed, I would say they weren't that amazing for the price

AMBIANCE: Parking: Welcome to Old San Juan, it get get pretty busy - best to carpool or do public transportation. Seating: Indoor seating or private cabana set ups for groups. Room for a total of 100 people. Feels: Welcome to Old San Juan, a mix of touristy and culture. The spot itself is popular for locals and tourists. As for the space itself, what's unique about this spot is this place isn't just one bar. It's actually a series of connected rooms (about 6-7 different spaces), each with its own vibe - speak easy, dance, casual, house, live music and more! I'm surprised each room can contain it's sounds while maintaining its own energy. It feels like a speakeasy maze meets nightlife experience. Dim lighting, vintage touches, and just enough chaos in a good way. DRINKS/EXPERIENCE It was such a fun night, not sure what I ordered but there is an abundance of flavors as every room has different selections. But popular drinks if you're looking for guidance - lavendar mule, espresso martini, a classic mojito. They got the classic to your well-crafted cocktails. Some spots provide food while others is sip and chill or sip and dance. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Fast-paced but solid. Staff keeps up with the crowd and still manages to be engaging. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars! Good choices, reasonable prices, and a vibe like no other. As a gemini that can be quite indecisive, I enjoyed this spot - especially with its multiple options. This is more than a bar - it's an experience. A spot where the night can go longer than expected. TIPS: * Walk through ALL the rooms--you'll miss half the experience if you don't

We were thrilled when we finally walked through the door again after wracking our brains to remember our favorite spot in Old Town. Upon entering, we were greeted by a young woman who, mentioned it was her very first day as an assistant to the bartender. Despite being brand new, she was warm, engaged, and genuinely welcoming, excited for us that we had made it back after several years, and impressed with our efforts. Shortly thereafter the bartender on duty approached us mid-conversation, visibly irritated. When I mentioned that we hadn't yet decided on drinks but were being well taken care of in the meantime, she interrupted sharply to bark at us that she was the bartender and the ONLY one who could help us. The tone was unwelcoming enough that after a moment, my companion and I determined that we would prefer to move on and left without ordering. The atmosphere is truly special, and it deserves to be matched by the experience guests receive at the bar. Our experience was simply not the vibe that night, and I truly was disappointed FOR the new hire who was doing what she should in engaging us until we could be served. I sincerely hope to return on a future visit to San Juan and to rediscover the experience that first brought me back to La Grieta.

Came here before take-off to bowl with my mom. I'm not sure how this business operates because entrances to bowling alley and 300 lounge are accessible through all doors.
