We found our experience with Vin and Vin exceptional. Vicente and his team were very communicative and conscientious to what our requirements were in regards to reimaging our front landscape. They offered several suggestions on certain elements of the landscape remodel, for which we agreed upon. We were kept in constant communication and the end product came out spectacular. Throughout the entire process, it was easy to follow up with Vincente on the project status, and we are very grateful to have found them. Their costs were very reasonable, and they were extremely professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring support in maintaining their landscaping and hardscaping.

They responded quickly when we first contacted them and scheduled a walkthrough to discuss the work. Vicente came out to look at the yard, talk through the different items we wanted to address, and soon afterward provided a clear, detailed estimate that laid everything out very well. The project included refreshing mulch in the front and back yard, repairing a wooden side gate, replacing a number of plants, installing two new Pittosporum with gopher wire protection, repairing an irrigation leak, and fixing some issues with our border edging. Vicente coordinated everything and was very easy to work with. Their team arrived exactly on time both days and worked efficiently. By the second day most of the larger work had already been completed, so they brought a smaller crew to finish things up, which I appreciated. The quality of the work was excellent and everything looked clean, well-finished, and professionally installed. They even did some extra trimming and general sprucing up that made parts of the yard they didn't technically need to touch look better. Overall a very positive experience. Professional, punctual, and clearly take pride in their work. We would definitely use Vin & Vin Landscaping again.

I had him redo the irrigation configuration in the lawn area, install gopher wire, bring in soil, and plant Microclover and grass seed. They are now my go-to for irrigation and other landscape projects!

I've seen several other jobs where the seam was still visible after the contractor completed their work. Sylvester and I discussed this potential issue and he told me he uses a special s curved jig to blend the seam together. We discussed the scope for work, the different materials of each layer, a start date and most importantly the price which was better than those national brands and large artificial grass companies. Sylvester contacted me the day prior to the start date confirming the time they would there. The next day, they showed up on time! we sprayed an outline of our design. Not your basic straight line edges that's easy... ours had curves... they started work and bang, 2 and a half days later it was completed and it looks great. In this day of age, it's difficult to find a contractor that responds to calls, shows up when they say they will and are great communicating with their client and putting them at ease. Note: Sylvester was on site most of the time. While on site, he works with his crew. When he wasn't he was picking up materials and only gone for a short time. I'd recommend Sylvester at SJ yard works for their artificial grass installations.

Our project was large, involving…read morea new paver driveway, new public sidewalk, new turf install, new concrete and paver pathways, new wooden gates and a re-install of a paver patio. The project took a long time with several interruptions due to weather and permitting with the city. For a while it seemed like the sidewalk repair might not happen, but Juan and Freddie were able to work it out with the city and the new sidewalk looks great. Our new paver driveway looks amazing and has given us way more space. The new retaining wall curves around the corner to the street, which was a detail in the design that I really wanted, and they were able to deliver. So far after a few heavy rainstorms everything seems to be draining properly. The plants and landscaping are starting to fill in and I'm hoping that the plants thrive over the summer after some pretty nasty weather the last couple months. Perhaps the best part of the project has turned out to be the backyard where we replaced the grass lawn with turf and had the paver patio re-installed. It looks really nice and the dogs love it. I love that I don't have to spend hours weeding it and worrying about foxtails in dog feet or noses. There is still one step left before completion, since we ended up having to replace our sewer pipe to the street which left a small section of the paver driveway. Overall Northview did great work on a big job with some complicated permitting requirements. They were always respectful, polite and communicative. I'll definitely contact them again for future work and would recommend Northview Landscaping to friends and neighbors.
