I needed to address an aesthetic and preservation problem with my driveway. The original concrete…read moreacid stain become discolored by a white deposit, that was apparently a result of age (i.e. wear of the sealer and moisture intrusion). I used the original company who did the staining on two occasions to address the problem. They resealed the driveway to return it to the original color without the white discoloration (no need to redo the acid staining process). However, in both cases the discoloration returned in short order and there was significant associated expense involved. I then did some research and hired Concrete Doctors. Mauro, the owner knows what he is doing. He explained to me the need to do in-depth cleaning with a pressure sprayer and chemicals, if needed, with multiple cleaning applications. This was followed by two applications of the sealer to restore the color/finish. The trick is to wait for dry, low humidity weather to apply the sealer, because the white discoloration was being caused by trapped/migrating humidity. The company owner (Mauro) was knowledgeable and his craft workers were diligent and professional. Pricing was reasonable. I would use the company again. I understand the company also does other things such as masonry and painting.
