Was one other guy waiting and on hearing my wait time he left on my heels. Was my second time walking out in so many months. In terms of the past year the cuts were passable. For the cost and convenience it was ok in a pinch. Now that the convenience appears gone so is my business. In general though it's an OK looking place. Conveniently located. Parking options close.

My 14 year old son had beautiful corkscrew curls that came down over his eyes and past his ears. He is going out to look for a job, so I sent him here to get a hair cut, figuring a barber salon could do a better job with his longer hair - boy was I wrong! He just wanted a fade on the sides and a little shorter on the top. She literally cut off all his hair and gave him a boys regular. They also charged him $40 for a haircut you can get at any barbershop for $11. The poor kid literally has a buzz cut now. So I call and ask what the heck happened and she said he liked it. So I asked her if he liked it, why is he texting me that you ruined his hair? She told me there was nothing she could do, and I replied that you couldn't put the hair back on his head, but that you could explain why you robbed him for $40 on an $11 haircut. She said you have a nice day. so I asked if that was all she was going to say? and she repeated herself and hung up. Not even an apology from this terrible company.

What I didn't account for with my move back to the US that the frilly hairdressers of the East Coast being above all that. Well I guess it worked to my advantage cause after a few inquiries a really cool girl from one of these frilly shops recommended Dolo creations. First off Des the owner is da bomb! He takes walks ins which is what I was at first, but he straight up told me he was busy and booked me to comeback a specific time so I wasn't left hanging. When I came back I was psyched, it's a barbershop with some love and welcome to all - ladies need not feel uncomfortable - as everyone is welcome. This is not a "mans - man" barbershop. It's clean, pumpin music, and great collection of Dolos apparel line displayed inside. Des is a cool cat and loves to chat and makes you feel welcome! My side design you ask? Well I'm a bit of an adventurous type so I left it to Des to work his magic. It was so killer! I'm happy. I'll be back every two weeks for some fresh swag, my man for sure has a regular barbershop and incase you are wondering they can take lil boys. So I know my lil Boo will be getting his faux hawk done here. They don't take cc's so make sure to fine with cash.
