This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. A little strange but ok whatever. Came down and was given a quote, upon leaving realized a service I was going to need wasn't listed so I went back in and they provided me with an updated quote. The part I needed was a specialty part so they told me I would need to come and pay a "deposit" for the part before they ordered. I agreed to that, within 6 days of the date I was given the quote I went to pay the deposit, magically the amount of the part went up by almost $200. I needed the work done so I paid it but noted it as the first red flag. They informed me that the part should arrive by Wednesday (3 business days) which was fine. Wednesday came and when they did not call I called for an update and the part hadn't arrived. Called them the following day and they advised they received the part but it was missing a key piece, that it was being expedited and should arrive the next day. Called the next day (because why would they communicate with their customers) for them to tell me that there was a delay and that it wasn't going to be delivered until the following Wednesday (so a week after the original date I was given.) I immediately was irritated and asked to speak to a manager; I was inquiring as to how that was good customer service and asked that at the very least they honor the original quote that they gave me. I was irritated but was never yelling or cursing at anyone; I kept it very respectful. The "manager" proceeded to tell me that if they honored the original quote they would lose money and they are a business and that's not going to work for them. I was also told that no one "twisted my arm" to pay the additional $200. Twisted my arm huh, never experienced worst customer service in my life. I got the work done with them for no other reason that I was already in $1,000 for parts but please don't go here unless you want to be verbally abused and mistreated.

I want to be fair - Mavis gets the work done quickly and the technicians are capable. However, my…read morerecent experiences have seriously damaged my confidence in their integrity. I came in with a slow leak in a tire with only 2,000 miles on it that I'd purchased here 4 months ago. I was immediately told it couldn't be repaired and that I'd need a new tire for $350. When I pushed back and mentioned I had just bought four new tires from them recently, suddenly the story changed to "we totally understand, we'll patch it up and you can be on your way." If the tire was patchable all along, why was replacement the first recommendation? This felt less like an honest assessment and more like testing whether I'd just accept the upsell. This isn't isolated either. On a previous visit, my wife was told she had a serious alignment issue that was "super unsafe." Tesla had just completed routine service with no such concerns flagged. Between these two incidents, it's clear there's a pattern of pushing unnecessary services on customers who might not know better. Quick service means nothing when you can't trust the diagnosis. I understand shops need to make money, but building long-term customer relationships through honest recommendations would serve them far better than what feels like exploiting people's lack of knowledge. I won't be returning, which is unfortunate because the speed and convenience would otherwise make this my go-to shop.
