This park is absolutely amazing! It's a huge wooden park surrounded by grass and baseball fields. I…read morewould say this park is geared toward older kids, but have some stuff for young and even babies. The visibility isn't great so unless you stand in the middle or follow your kids it's easy to lose sight of them. So it would be great for hide and seek. A con is that at or near lunch time high schooler kids from Elko high school come and ditch school at this park and can be very loud and disruptive. Everyone else that I've met here is super friendly. This is a great place to play frisbee, have a family picnic or just play at the park. Definitely visit this park at least once, for us it's a daily thing.

It has been 7 weeks and 22 classes since I started CFR. WOW! What a journey so far! During that…read moretime, I've done things I never thought possible at 57 or any age for me! 1) I participate in high-impact activities, like jump rope and jogging/running, that I hadn't done for 30 plus years due to my knees! 2) I've done push ups...yesterday was 50! Doing one would have been a big deal before. 3) I'm lifting more than PVC pipe! Those first two weeks were a little sketchy due to a tear in my shoulder. Now my shoulder barely gives me any trouble and I don't need PT. 4) I've learned yoga poses! :-) 5) I can get on and off the ground for the first time after my knee replacements 3 yrs ago without worrying about having something to hold onto to get back up! 6) I've been upside down against a wall... still working on that one. 7) I can hold onto a bar, actually hold my weight, and did knee ups yesterday! 8) I can do more kinds of squats than I ever realized existed! And, what do I get out of it besides great exercise and great people? 1) I've stopped all blood pressure meds because they're no longer necessary. 2) I stopped a medical weight loss program, because I just don't need it. 3) I sleep much better. 4) My confidence has improved. 5) Because I commit myself to going to the 4:30 class I no longer work 10-12 hr days. I am hooked and healthier then I have been for a long time and I have all of you to thank for it.

I did not know what CrossFit was, and out of curiosity, reached out. I am 61 yrs old and was feeling in a funk about my physical fitness. The coaches are knowledgeable and supportive. The other gym members are encouraging as well. I want to stay as physically active as I can as I age. If you are wanting to start a fitness journey or build on what you have, I would encourage you to give the gym a call and talk about your goals. You will not be sorry you did. Don't wait.

An Exceptional Experience!…read more The Ruby 360 is an incredible place! The lodge room that we viewed was lovely and spacious, with vast views through large windows, and the private patio. But we stayed at the Conrad Creek Yurt, and what an exceptional experience that was! The yurt itself was beautiful, large and roomy, with two comfy queen beds and the softest sheets ever, large couches, and kitchen facilities, all very clean and comfortable. There is a deck surrounding it, a gas bbq, and stone pathways along the lovely creek. Very much a deluxe camping experience. What makes this space so extraordinary is the soothing sound of the creek, and the magical feeling of staying in a round house. Something mystical about it. Very peaceful, relaxing and rejuvenating. Haven't slept that well in far too long! And then there's the restaurant... Quality food thoughtfully prepared, appealingly presented, and oh so delicious! Chef Jarred is very accommodating to dietary needs, and the friendly staff is attentive and helpful. Clearly Ruby 360 is run by visionaries. Such a memorable experience! Thank you so much! Can't wait to return

We celebrated a friend's 40th birthday in June. The restaurant only takes 40 guests for dinner on…read moreThursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Make sure you get your reservation early. The price is set at $80 per person. You can choose an entree. From ribeye, to chicken to fish there is something for everyone's tastes. The chef chooses the appetizers, salad, sides and desserts. The first two hours are cocktail hours. Your $80 comes with appetizers and a glass of wine. The best part of the Ruby 360 Lodge, in my opinion, is the location and the views from the Lodge. Spend those first two hours out on the deck or playing yard games like corn hole. I chose the ribeye for my dinner. Unfortunately this was probably my only complaint of the experience. I requested the steak be cooked medium well. My steak looked amazing but it didn't taste like it was seasoned at all and over 1/2 was inedible due to it being undercooked and even though a ribeye is supposed to have a good marble this steak had way too much. The sides were just alright, but I loved my salad and the dessert. I was there for a party and I loved the whole evening so the food not being the best didn't deter me from wanting to go back again someday. I would just recommend choosing a different entree. The lodge has accommodations to stay there over night. And you can have breakfast for $35 a person. Just FYI. They can accommodate celiac dietary restrictions for dinner, but not for breakfast.
