( they said the home is not up to code because of this ) he tried claiming because it was underground but you can clearly see where the pump is coming out and discharges. THE SUMP PUMP WAS DISCHARGING ONTO THE STREET YOUD THINK AS AN INSPECTOR YOUD at LEAST MENTION IT, He says sump pump is working but didn't even LOOK TO SEE WHERE IT WAS DISCHARGING TO SEE IF IT WAS WORKING. Only thing they said in the report was air conditioner needed leveling. And building needed some caulk very small repairs not a multiple thousand dollar repair ! Would not recommend at all unless you'd like to spend $100-300k on a home with issues you don't know about . This inspection was done by the owner JASON GEIGER. Do not waste your money ! Granted our home is 110 years old and our elderly father has lived in it for over 30 years so we did expect some things to come back. He also stated the oven does not work, beacuse it is about 30+ years old it does not function like today's meaning if you turn it on you have to wait for it to ignite it is not automatic. The livingroom carpet has been pulled up 3/4 down the main wall and a 1/4 down the side wall.
