We signed a contract for a garage with a mini in-law suite on November 7, 2016. Although M&T…read moreAllison Construction was the high bid, we chose them because they (orally) said that it would take six weeks. Demolition was supposed to begin on November 23, 2017, but they didn't actually tear it down until the end of December. Then they left. They came back every once in a while to pick up the debris. They sub-contracted the drywall, and he has been very professional, but he can't finish because M&T hasn't delivered the 12 sheets of drywall that he needs. I called them one day to tell them that we had found flooring that we liked, and we were told that they had chosen our flooring, vanity, and sink. I called on June 10, 2017, because nobody had been to the project since they poured concrete on May 13. They assured me that the project would be done by July 1. It is now July 12, and drywall, flooring, painting, and the bathroom still have to be completed. I can understand a couple of weeks' overrun, but this is ridiculous. I would not recommend M&T Allison Construction.

This company was very unprofessional and did not deliver good service. Once they get your money,…read morethey makes excuses of why they can't start the job yet. We made the mistake of paying half of the money for a roof and gutters up front. She did not answer the phone when we tried to call numerous times. Once we finally were able to get them here, they tried to get the other half of the money stating they couldn't pay their people without all of the money paid ahead of time, even though the work was not finished. When we refused to pay the balance until the work was done, it was a miracle that they suddenly got material to finish the job (minus some missing screws). Finally they promised to bring gutter screws that they did not have to finish the job and once again, they are not answering their phone since they were paid in full. Not a good company. Run while you can. I wish I could give a minus in the rating, but it will not post so reluctantly giving them one star.
