Tired, dark and seedy location in need of inside scrubbing top to bottom. Generous scoops, and okay prices

Very good customer service. Ice cream is heavenly! Will highly recommend! Delicious. Popular place always full but lines run fast Xoxo read more

Followed the Yelp parade! Quick and easy counter service. You get a lot for the price. It's all handmade and every flavor is amazing. I got the Triple Chocolate and my wife got the Chocolate Lasagna (ask about it). They also have warm hazelnut topping. Limited seating inside. It's an essential stop. Top notch. read more

Great ice cream but always out of mint chocolate chip. How about keeping an extra tub in the freezer!

I was strolling through Yelp today before heading to a New Year's Day walk on the beach. After reviewing Joy's, we decided to give it a try. Wow. Seriously. Wow. The ice cream was handmade onsite. The place had an ice cream parlor look with striped walled and old celeb photos. The staff was welcoming, efficient and helpful. The star of the show is the ice cream. They make it onsite. The colors were vibrant, and the taste was amazing. So rich and full. I had a scoop of chocolate almond and the best banana pudding I've ever tasted. My wife had strawberry cheesecake and eggnog. Prices are very reasonable for a beach community. And the size was enormous - not just large - enormous. You wonder how they make a profit. I'm a big fan of an ice cream shop on the island as well. I'm adding Joy's to the rotation! read more

Came here today after lunch to get a treat. When I walked in, I was greeted by the 2 employees. Young guy with like orange hair and the young girl, brunette and possibly Hispanic. So my friend got a milkshake and I got 2 scoops of ice cream. But first, I sampled the heck out of multiple flavors. I ended up getting cake batter and chocolate ice cream which was vanilla ice cream with chocolate pudding and some other stuff. The ice cream was delicious. The female, which I forgot her name hooked it up. For real, she served some giant scoops which you can see by the pictures. I was not expecting that large of scoops. Anyway, everything was delicious and I would come back again! read more

Wonderful, wonderful ice cream! Cute little shop. Great variety. All homemade! We drive from Vero Beach ( it's worth it)!

Great value for the money! The ice cream and shakes are very enjoyable and have great flavor combos.

Early afternoons here in Florida has a majority of the population looking for something refreshing and more than likely this refreshment includes ice cream. This little strip mall location is no secret to the locals, so expect to encounter a line out the door spilling onto the sidewalk most days, the line consistently moves forward towards the counter but those ordering are never rushed and most seem to take advantage of the free samples so it can seem a little slow which provides you have plenty of time to change your mind as you get close. The friendly staff here takes it all in stride and are very adapted to the indecisiveness and will accommodate your wishes no matter how bazaar it may be. It took me only seconds to make my decision while scanning the menu board yep banana ice cream and only banana ice cream. For my best friend and companion it's never an easy task, she usually only make her decision once the store employee is face to face with her and I'm usually as surprised as anyone when she announces her choice - today it was coffee on a sugar cone. There are two important things to know about Joy's Ice Cream Plus - the portions are humongous and the prices are amazing low. We have been trained to believe that more is better and in some cases this is may apply, not here my friend, only if you've been deprived you may want to get something other than a small serving, whether that be a cup or cone. I thought the ice cream was truly delicious and I would recommend it even if you have a considerable drive, of course if all ice cream in your opinion is good then maybe there are other options that meet your expectations since the fast food brands also have recognized the importance of selling something chilled and served at the drive through, but for me a short wait standing in line for homemade is worth every minute... read more

5 STARS ALL DAY AND NIGHT LONG!!!! OMGGGGGG. I JUST WENT AND HAD THE CARROT CAKE ICE CREAM (AND YES I AM SHOUTING). I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW ABSOLUTELY AMAZING THIS WAS. OK seriously, I have been to Joys many times and enjoyed everything. I think the Cannoli Ice cream needs more of a cannoli taste personally. Today I saw Carrot Cake! Yes Pleaase!!! Unreal! My ONLY COMPLAINT is please add some walnuts to the ice cream itself. Would bring this to a whole new level I got all the flavors of a carrot cake, there was a cream cheese frosting taste, shredded carrots. Amazing. Add those walnuts and BOOM!!!! read more

This place is very good. I love the coconut and blackberry. I like to buy the 3 pack (so to speak) where you can get 3 different flavors and they pack that ice cream in for under $8 it's like getting a 1/2gallon of the flavors you like. It may be a little pricey (this country is expensive) but worth every bite read more

The best ice cream in treasure coast and it's homemade! The peanut butter crunch flavor is phenomenal and the service is fantastic. Any ice cream you try will be rich in flavor and creamy - you can't go wrong. We will absolutely return because Joy's has so many delicious well-made flavors to pick from. The portions are great and so are the prices - especially for the quality. read more

I called to ask if they were distributing tickets for the PSL Drama show. Before I could finish my sentence the lady said yes and hung up on me. I called back only to be hung up on before I even said hello. Again, I called back to ask if Saturday tickets were still available only for her to say mam I am on the phone with a distributor and don't have time to walk up front to check to see if the tickets are available. Maybe you should let PSL high-school know that you will not give info on tickets so they can give a heads up that they will be complete jerks if you call them or say "i can't be bothered right now" instead of hanging up on me. You are the rudest person I've ever been on the phone with. I was going to bring the kids for ice cream while we purchased our tickets but I'll NEVER step foot in this place again. What a rude unprofessional way to run a business. I'm sure if distributing tickets was too difficult or resulted in your attitude, PSL high would rather you don't do them any favors. Those poor kids DESERVE better leadership and representation. I wonder how many tickets they lost out on because this lady couldn't be bothered to answer the phone. I'm still going but I'll be visiting We Be Poppin afterwards. Thanks Joyless! Btw: it gives out your phone number ON THE FLYER. Why would I assume I'm not allowed to call? read more

Decent ice-cream the lemon custard and Java mocha was the best. Some of the flavors seemed to taste a little old. Pleasant costumer service. They also allow you to taste test. read more

Stated they have dairy free ice cream but might as well said they did not. Why spend money on DF ice cream when you are going to contaminate it with scoops that are used on dairy or place it in the same freezer as dairy ice cream so that is drips in the DF ice cream. Not allergen friendly. read more

Omg, this is a gem in the treasure chest. This place is amazing and out of this world, all homemade icecream and a large and huge selection of ice cream. They make sugar free, dairy free, sherbert and of course ice cream of galore. They can also customize ice cream as a shake or a sundae as well sell it on the pint. If you don't want any ice cream they do sell birthday cake even ice cream sandwiches. For the portion sizes you will be flabbergasted on how huge they are, I always get a kid size because it's a huge one scoop but a normal small size it's 2 large scoops but it's worth the price. During the weekend their would be a line forming out the door because it shows a small ice cream shop can bring so much people read more
