This location has cute items but the customer service is terrible, the older lady followed me while I was browsing and when I got in a tight isle she followed me with her eyes. I felt like they expected me to steal, honestly I was so mesmerized by her I thought I was suppose to steal. Any how beware of their door advertisement where it says "buy 2 apparel get 1 free" I got to the counter with 4 shirts and expected to pay $60, but no it was $83. So I asked the lady why so and she quickly snapped back "NOT ON TSHIRTS." Well I guess I did not read the fine 8 point font that read excludes TSHIRTS. read more

Most of the store is filled with doodads and junk. More crafts, trinkets, and football crap than cards. I've been here several times because it's close to where we live, and each time I walk in those ladies look at me like I'm about to steal something. No thanks. I bought a Vera Bradley housecoat for my mother for mother's day. The arms were too long. I attempted to return or exchange it for something else and was told because the item was on clearance I could not even exchange it. I was told by the manager it was the store policy. There are no signs in the store stating this policy nor was I told at the time of purchase. The manager said it is stated on the receipt. Excuse me. How does that help someone until after they purchase the item. Poor business. The manager said this has always been their policy. Well, than place signs up, no one is a mind reader. Stopped in during my lunch to buy birthday wrapping paper. Couldn't find large enough roll of anything. Three people working and No one offered assistance. Found two large rolls of Christmas paper that was close enough. Then I found a clearance isle and spent time going through, after which I looked for a card. The workers were strange and had poor customer service skills. One worker came and started collected my items off the floor while I was looking at cards. I ended up leaving the card. Went to register and different worker ringing up total. After deciding against a can/beer huggie, I handed it back to worker at register. Then the other worker walked up and asked where that item was. Ended up putting back the two large rolls of wrapping paper. Started to ask if they wanted to check my purse. Worst experience ever. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I purchased a $194 Victoria Lynn bracelet with charms from this store a few days before Christmas. When I got home I realized that the charms didn't work well on the bracelet and then found out that the person I bought it for didn't wear jewelry. So I decided to get them something else and just return the bracelet. I arrived to the store on December 26th to return the bracelet. The sales person credited my card, I signed the receipt and was ready to leave. Just before I was about to walk out, another employee came to the counter and said that I couldn't return the bracelet and charms because they were on clearance. When I purchased them I was told they were currently buy one get one free. No clearance sign and nowhere on my receipt did it say that the items were on clearance or that the sale was final, just that the items were discounted. She stated that "obviously if it was buy one get one, that meant that it was clearance" and that she was going to "void the refund". When I looked on my refund receipt (that I had already signed, may I add) the sales person had entered on each line item "all sales are final" but on my purchase receipt all it said was discounted item. So I snatched up both receipts and left. My sister went in to take pictures of the counter to show that there were no signs indicating that the merchandise was clearance. While she was there she overheard the employees discussing my issue. One employee instructed another employee that if anyone asked she was to tell them that she told me that the sale was final when I purchased it. This girl was not even the person who sold me the bracelet. The girl then went on to say that she didnt think the bracelet couldn't be returned because normally non returnable merchandise is indicated on the receipt. I called to make a complaint and it turns out that the extremely rude woman (Shelly) is actually the owner of the store! She very rudely told me that sale merchandise and clearance merchandise were the same thing (25 years in the business told her this) and that she was finished with our conversation and then hung up on me. This is NOT a place that I will ever do business with again. The owner clearly lacks customer service skills (and human decency) and runs a shady business. My advice is to stay away from this store and take your business elsewhere. Maybe Shelly will learn that you don't get customers by being greedy. read more
