I have had flair ups of chronic back pain for several years. I started going to this massage spa…read moreweekly and have had amazing results. This therapist understands my body pain and does an amazing job. She first relaxes the overall body muscles then starts getting the deeper tissues with forearms and elbows. Next she uses the hot massage stones directly to my pain areas. After finishing the hot stones she removes the oils and then puts a towel on my back. Then she finishes off carefully kneeling on my pain areas and the pressure feels great. When I walk out I feel 20 years younger basically pain free. These girls are sweet, polite and hard working people. The price is right and they rely on tips so make sure you reward the effort.

I'm a fan of the one hour foot massage in general and have had them in different spas across the…read morecountry. Out of the many different experiences I have been on the lucky side finding places that provided pain relief, though it isn't always the case. Sometimes you find spas where employees have little to no experience in offering pain/stress relief. For the price of getting a foot massage or full body, it's not bad. Given that you receive a capable spa employee. I use this term opposed to masseuse or massage therapist because most of these joints do not post massage certification at their storefront nor do their spa employees seek certification. Word of mouth around these parts have good things to say about this mall location. However on a past weekday I stopped in with a friend and the both of us received the most painful "hot stone" massages. They offer hot stone but the stones were not hot or warm. I could hear my spa guy juggling stones in his hands prior to applying them on my clothed back. For the increase in cost for the stones the services were laughable. Worst was that both spa employees had colds which were noticeable only after we started the massage. Because as they worked, both were sniffling and trying to clear their nasal passages. It def gave some nervousness given the status of the pandemic. I wish they had told us prior, could have visited a different day or asked them to go get some cold medication prior to starting our appointments. Didn't help that the facial cushion was topped with coarse paper towel rather than a hygienic, moisture barrier wrap. As seen in regular massage spas. I doubt returning. My spa guy came down with a force and it felt like he didn't know what he was doing. My back and sides were sore for a week after. Usually when a massage is good I might clock out to la la land for a short nap. In this case I was counting the time till I could leave.

I've always gone for a deep tissue massage, and let me tell you, even though all the masseuses are around 100 pounds soaking wet, they can really give a guy like me a workout! They may have difficulty understanding what you want during your massage, so I've taken to using a translator on my phone so there's no confusion, and everyone is happy. I'll be going for another massage in the coming week, as my back has been getting progressively stiffer from doing all the necessary yardwork, and I'm really looking forward to it!
