The flowers were at reasonable prices, delivered on time, communication was excellent throughout, prompt responses to my inquiries and even a photo of the before delivery, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The flowers themselves were absolutely beautiful, fresh, and arranged with great care. We were so impressed that we've decided to use their services from now on. Highly recommended! read more

Was not happy with the amount of flowers nor how long they lasted. Gave feedback on an email and never heard back.

Flowers that was ordered did not even resemble flowers on website. Very disappointing

I was last minute ordering flowers and in a pinch I called Joy's Flower shop. I was not disappointed. I was absolutely satisfied with the service, the price, attention to detail but most of all, the flower arrangement. Two beautiful baskets (my request) filled with colorful flowers delivered as desired. I highly recommend Joy's Flower Shop if you're in need. read more

I first learned of Joy Flower Shop when they delivered a gorgeous arrangement that someone sent to me at my office. I was so impressed with their work that I bookmarked them for future use. I've now used them a few times for clients and family, and I am never disappointed. The prices are slightly above average, but the customer service and quality of their arrangements keeps me coming back. I get emailed a detailed receipt right away, texted a photo of the arrangement before it's sent out, and they always deliver by the promised time. Highly recommend. read more

I am very impressed with the same day delivery. The bouquet of flower was beautiful. I placed in my order online through the website for same day delivery at 9:15AM. I received a picture text message of my order at 11:15AM and it also said "before 1:00pm delivery joy flower shop." I liked how the flower shop kept me updated with my order. My recipient received her bouquet before 12PM. This order went very smoothly. I have attached a picture comparison of my actual order and the website picture of my order. There are some slight differences, but that is ok with me. I actually like my order more than the website picture. My order: Blushing Blooms #84, AS SHOWN Cost: bouquet-$49.95 shipping- around $9.00 tax-?? Total-$64.54 They got themselves a returning customer. read more

I ordered flowers for my mama for Mother's Day and she loved them. Since we can't celebrate together this year I wanted to make sure she knew we were thinking of her! This florist is definitely no frills and very basic/simple. The website image is quite a bit nicer than the actual end result but I think they did a decent job and Joy's flower shop seemed to be the best option I could find (on yelp) in the Citrus Heights area. My mom said the gentleman who dropped the flowers off (no contact) was friendly and professional (a "delight" is actually what she said). Flowers arrived on time and were fresh. I even got a picture of the flowers text messaged to me (even though they said for the week of Mother's Day they wouldn't be able to provide this service). read more

The shop was unexpectedly closed on the 14th ( when the flowers were set the be delivered) so they delivered it a day early only I wasn't home to receive them. The delivery driver waited (I believe) because when i came home (about 10 minutes later) they were delivered. That was very appreciated because I wasn't sure if I would receive them because they delivery driver walked off with them when I didn't answer the door. The flowers are beautiful, only they wrote the wrong name on the card. pretty disappointed because of that because the card was very nice, just wrong name. read more

Came in for a bouquet to be made for my wife's anniversary, I explained to them very well what assortment of flowers I wanted. I'm not sure they understood very well because they hardly spoke English. I used a calculator to add up all the assortments together and it came up to a total of $180 (171 but I rounded up). The bouquet was made and I was ready to pay (even though they got flowers from the back and not the fresh ones that they had from the front). The lady attempted to charge me for $250... I was very upset and told them I'm not overpaying for half-dead flowers and a poor assortment that looked as if it was thrown together by a child. Do not visit this shop, they will blame you and attempt to scam you. HORRIBLE experience! read more

We wanted to get a really nice bouquet for our mothers birthday. We went in and were immediately greeted by Kim with a happy and open smile. We let her know what we were looking for a decided to do the designers choice since we weren't too familiar with making bouquets. We were in and out of there within 10 minutes! We wanted a really full and vibrant color bouquet with lillies (moms fav flower). We came in on Tuesday and asked to pick up on Friday. Since Sacramento had just released a notice to stay in doors, they gave me a call early in the morning to let us know they would still allow us to pick up our flowers or deliver them for free. We ended up going there to pick them up and they let us in even with the health uncertainties. We got some orchids as well to give to my mom and she carefully wrapped them and made them look even more beautiful with ribbon. She asked how we were doing and if we were able to get shopping done due to COVID-19 and let her know we were having issues finding toilet paper. She did not even hesitate to grab some from the back and gave it to us. We were shocked and grateful for her kindness. We will definitely be back to get more flowers!! We love to help support our local businesses so it's a win-win!! read more

I cannot thank Joy Flower Shop enough. My grandmother is currently in a nursing home, and for the Christmas Holiday, I wanted to send her flowers. Omg omg omg! I absolutely love the flowers this shop delivered to my work from my husband!! My hubby wanted to surprise me with a "I'm thinking of you gift" and found this wonderful flower shop! I got them 3 days ago and they are only getting more and more beautiful (I posted 3 days worth of pictures). This flower shop is amazing! I've always heard that to get the best flowers sent, shop local. This is so true. I live in Southern CA, but thanks to on-line ordering (so easy to use!), I was able to send a beautiful arrangement to mom for Mother's Day. When I've used those national franchises in the past, I've always been so disappointed (broken vases, wilted bouquets; it looking nothing like the picture). Not with Joy Flower Shop! The arrangement looked exactly as it was pictured on-line (if not a bit better!); they texted me a picture the morning of delivery (what an awesome idea!) & my mom sent me a picture as well. It looked beautiful! So full and well-shaped. The only (minor) drawback was when I was choosing my arrangement; there were options for Deluxe & Premium versions of the arrangement (for an additional $15 each level), but I couldn't find descriptions of what that entailed. Also, same-day delivery if an order is placed before 3:00 PM is a winning policy in my book. I posted a picture of what the arrangement looked like on-line & what they looked like after delivery. This is the closest to the sample picture I have ever seen for a florist =) I will definitely be using Joy Flower Shop for every special occasion in the future. read more

I found this shop one day when I wanted to surprise my wife, they were the closest shop to where I was at the time. I chose them because of their location, and was very pleased at their willingness to do a very short notice delivery. At the time I was in a hurry and didn't pay close attention to anything, but they did have a nice variety. So, as is probably typical for us guys, I waited until 8 am on the morning of our 2nd anniversary, while at work on a return run from Fresno to think about getting an arrangement delivered to my wife.... I called this shop just as they opened, explained what I wanted..... wild flowers in sets of 2 in a vase..... What an amazing job they did, and had them in my wife's hands 2 hours later!!! Bravo!!! read more

I went there again this year and they're still so amazing. I went in and asked for a hand bouquet, asked them to include peonies, and gave them a price point. They made a beautiful arrangement within a few minutes right there in the store. I even noticed that since I told them the bouquet is a present for tomorrow, they included flowers that have not completely blossomed to allow them the whole day to open up and live longer. I can see the care they put in and they have a talent for picking which flowers go together. The customer service is great too! Everyone is so kind and made sure to ask if I needed anything. I'm very happy with everything. read more

I spent about 10 minutes on the phone ordering with one of the girls here yesterday. Specifically stated that I wanted purple tulips for my girlfriends birthday as they are her favorite flowers. Came to pick up, saw nothing in cases that were all purple. Girl that came to help brings out an arrangement that is orange, yellow, white, pink and purple. 3 of each. Disappointing to pay $70 for flowers for someone and they aren't the the thing you ordered. 30 minutes round trip to pick up, bring it home and she doesn't like em. awesome start to the birthday festivities read more

Joy Flower Shop - The beautiful arrangement Joy Flower Shop sent out - Florists Near Me - Carmichael, California

It's Valentines day and yes, I understand there are many different orders, but it does not excuse them from following basic orders especially since I'm paying $9.95 for a delivery fee. I put out simple instructions of having the flowers deliver at 3 p.m. at my Fiancée's work place, but instead they delivered the flower at 9:30 a.m. and notified my Fiancée saying her flowers have arrived, which completely ruined the surprise. Instead of contacting me there was a problem, they went and texted her first. My Fiancée received a text from the delivery guy saying her followers have arrived, but when she arrived at work, he did not leave the flowers there. I had to call the shop and figure out what was going on. Even they had no idea what he was doing. Finally, they called back and said he will deliver it at my request, at 3 p.m. One hour into my fiancee's shift, she told me her flowers finally arrived. All of this confusion could have been avoided if they followed my instructions by delivering it later at 3 p.m. Completely unprofessional and highly not recommend it. I am completely unsatisfied. I would give it a zero if I can. read more

Beautiful! Flower arrangements looked just like the ads. They send you pics to confirm.

Flowers on 7/24/2022 were beautiful, fresh and long lasting. Varied flowers, all colorful/vibrant. Delivery guy was really nice.

I teach near this flower shop and am piloting science curriculum whereas I do not get to plan what I will teach when like I normally would. It just so happens I am piloting a life science unit whereas I need 3 white carnations and 3 flowers with clear parts, such as stigma, anther, filament for my students to dissect, draw, and label. If this were adopted, I would plan this in the early fall or late spring and get the necessary flowers from my friends' and families' gardens. The publishers suggest you contact local flower shops for donations. Since Joy is near my school I mistakenly thought they would be willing to donate a few flowers that were not bouquet worthy. I was wrong. I was told they "do not donate", but they would sell me "$5 per flower". I thought I misunderstood, but nope. They were going to charge me $30 for six past their prime flowers! read more

Kim was so helpful and nice. I ordered at 3:30 pm on Friday and had my flowers by 10 am Saturday morning.

My brother passed and I chose to have a designers choice done. They went above and beyond. Couldn't have been better.
