My wife needed to use the restroom and asked an employee if she could use it. He said no I'm sorry but you can go to CiCi's pizza. I walked to the front of the store with my shoes in hand. I told another employee that my wife really needs to use the restroom and asked her if she could use it. She said No. I told her we will go somewhere else. I put the shoes back and on the way out of the store was not asked anything or told anything. After today as an African American woman i felt targeted as the workers followed me around the entire time i was shopping. I was looking to purchase a pair of jeans that had the wrong tag on them. The workers made me feel as if i was the person who switched the tag when it was indeed a mistake from the vendor. I felt prejudged as i walked in today from the time i greeted the employees all through my actual shopping a worker followed me the entire time. I will never shop with this place again today. I am a nurse, very successful and i have no reason to steal or change a price as the company already has very reasonable prices. The matter was handled in an unprofessional manner. I am very displeased and upset with the treatment i received today. My blood is actually boiling as i feel discriminated against. I almost feel as if they were racist.
