What I do really like too is they offer texting which is helpful in scheduling appointments and reminders. It isn't an automatic service on the other line when texting, it is an actual person who answers your questions and concerns! He takes the time to talk to you, get to know your needs and tell you things to do at home that will help. He truly cares about all of his patients, and goes that extra mile to do anything he can to help. If your back or neck is too tight for a manipulation he will use an electric massager to loosen up your muscles, or stretch and massage it himself to loosen it. His front desk staff is just as friendly and accommodating and will work you in if you need it. I literally drive more than half an hour to go see him- I'm very picky about my chiropractors bit he fits the bill!

The presentation was good and Dr. John St. John was very knowledgable. Initial Consultation -- I visited in October 2019. I have some back pain so I decided to make an appointment. They provided a discount for my co-workers and I to come to a initial consultation ($47). The price is normally over $150. So with such a good discount, I made an appointment. We were told that the initial consultation would be 2 different appointments but when I went to my actual appointment, I was never told to come back for a 2nd appointment because my health issue was "minor" Appointment -- Almost an hour of my appointment was spent completing new patient forms. After completing the forms, I was taken into a room to do some test where my heart rate (?) was checked. Finally, I saw the choiropractorci doctor (Dr. John St. John) who only spent about 12 mins with me. I was hoping to have at least 20-30 mins with the doctor especially for my initial consultation but I literally got less than 15 minutes. No X-Ray was performed. The doctor just physically scanned through my back. I was told that I would be given written, detailed feedback after my appointment about solutions to my problem but I didn't get any. I had to email them to get feedback and the feedback was basic. Granted, I understand that you can't provide super detailed feedback for someone who has only had 1 appointment so I'll give them that. They also don't accept health insurance so if I were to go back to get choiropractic adjustments, that would cost $80/hr which is too high. Overall, this clinic does seem to care about your well being but I was disappointed in my initial consultation. It felt as if they only cares about getting a new patient and money. After examination and reading my charts, she said I was a very good canidate for decompression therapy to heal the disks. I have been going to see Dr. Izzo for more than 15 years now. It all started when I had toddlers…read moreat home and mountains of laundry and one day I threw out my back trying to lift too much laundry at one time. It was the full blown deal too - impossible to sit down, impossible to stand up, shooting pains down the leg, all of it. I really hurt, and a heating pad was just not cutting it. Dr. Izzo brought me almost immediate relief, I could start to see things getting better after a week or two of treatments. No back problem is solved overnight (I've learned) but eventually I was back to normal. A few years later, another thrown back and I was back in her office. Once again, slowly but surely I returned to normal. Then about 3 years ago I really did it. My regular doctor really stressed trying physical therapy, and I did 3 times a week for nearly 6 weeks. Each appointment put me in more pain than the last, and several times I almost couldn't walk back to my car after treatment. At that point I decided to go back to what I knew and gave Dr. Izzo a call. Xrays and a consultation later, I discovered that my problem was very low in my back, (made worse with some age related arthritis) so traditional physical therapy was not going to be able to address the situation. We began with some core strengthening exercises, some stim treatments, plus the chiropractic treatments. It hasn't been a quick process (as you get older you don't bounce back as quickly I've learned) but I could tell a marked difference from the start, unlike the physical therapy I had been doing. When I first started the treatment I couldn't sit for very long, or stand for very long, or walk for very long - just miserable every minute of every day. I now am what I consider my "new" normal - being able to travel without pain, work in my yard (being careful what I lift), and having fun with my kids. I still have to be careful, but I feel like I have my life back. My teenage daughter has also been seeing Dr. Izzo after complaining of back pain throughout her tennis season. My daughter has also seen great relief, and her continuing back treatments will be helping her spine alignment long term as well, which should help her overcome the issues she had the "luck" to inherit from me. He has a wonderful disposition and treats me as an individual, not a number in a long line-up of other patients. The Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy was very helpful after my big toe was broken and ligaments torn from a bad fall in 2017.
