I was getting Invisalign through her office that wasn't covered by insurance, so I didn't care. But while I was already there monthly, thought I'd get my routine cleaning. She said I had 20 cavities, because they shined a light on my teeth and apparently it was a special light that could see where cavities were forming. I'd had one cavity ever in 32 years. So I planned to go back to my regular dentist for a second opinion. When I went back to her office for my next Invisalign, they put me in a chair and proceeded to try to "treat" my cavities. I said, you don't take my insurance, I'm here for Invisalign but was startled they tried to do that when I clearly told them I wasn't interested. By the way... 12 years later, still no cavities. My actual dentist laughed at the fact she said I had cavities. She also berated at least 2 staff members and embarrassed them in front of me to the point I felt ashamed for not stepping in and standing up for them.
