The receptionist said she would take our number and call when the patient before us was taken back. We left and went out to eat at a sit down restaurant and then went to the grocery. We returned at 5:00 as we had nothing more to do and live about 40 mins from the Dr's office. At 5:30 there were still at least 3 people ahead of us. I asked the receptionist about how much longer and was told it would be at least another 30 minutes. I asked that my co-pay be returned to me and, when I asked, she assured me that I would not be charged for the appointment. We left. I heard from various people in the waiting room that this was a common occurrence.

Other doctors or urgent care have told me…read moremultiple times that nothing is wrong other than my hygiene yet i take all precautionary measures to prevent Utis and yet i have them almost monthly! She ran a CT scan based on a theory of kidney stones that kept breaking down and giving me this infection then building back up (found that the same bacteria kept appearing in the last 5-6 culture tests), and found kidney stones and another issues with my spine! She says the kidney stones i have are too small to be "impregnated " with any bacteria so she is now running a cystoscopy. She also reached out to a known provider of vitamins for those who suffer from chronic utis and introduced me to that as well! So far we have not found the cause but unlike other doctors she is not giving up!

He scheduled my husband for a sleep study as he thought he had sleep apnea. My husband was able to get in for the sleep study within a weeks time and had the results with a couple weeks. It did not turn out to be sleep apnea, but Dr. Siepel was able to diagnose the problem and get my husband put on medication to help him with the issue. Both times we visited Dr. Siepel's office, we were in and out within a half an hour, wait time included (why can't more doctors run their offices like this?). Dr. Siepel is also hilarious!! Pay attention to what he say because he has that dry sense of humor where you will not even catch the joke unless you're listening closely. I did not stop laughing the entire time I was in there. His sense of humor took an extremely scary, stressful situation and added some light heartedness to it. Thank you Dr. Joseph Siepel!

Thirty minutes later we asked again .We where not offered an apology for having to wait so long or nothing. They took back 17 people to see doctor while we waited . We ask for her copay back and left I feel we where disrespected . How rude we where treated. I will never recommend anyone go there ever. Dr. Blake is kind, gracious, and, of course, highly knowledgeable. He has a quiet demeanor, a good…read moresense of humor, and a great bedside manner. His office is located near the University of Kentucky campus & is fairly easy to find. Ample parking space is available around Building D. Office atmosphere: His staff & assistants are kind & helpful. Seating is ample; avoid sitting near the windows if you don't want to be uncomfortably warm. The office layout is a little funky in a wheelchair but doable. There are two drawbacks of which future patients should be aware. 1. Expect to wait; Dr. Blake is a busy guy. I've sat in his office from 1 to 3 hours. 2. If your neurological or other medical issues cause you to have headaches, then this is not the practice for you. The waiting area is small and the "ad" TV located in the waiting room is uncomfortably loud. When I visited I asked if it could be turned down & was told that it could not be adjusted or turned off. Oh, the irony! In short, bring a snack, magazines, &, seriously, earplugs.
