It's with some regret that, after nearly ten years of being a patient, my family and I will be…read moremoving our care to a new dental practice. Unfortunately, we've recently experienced a few issues that have caused us to lose confidence. The first was a medical concern: a shard of titanium was left inside my son's tooth after a procedure. We were told this happens, but it was not removed, which is concerning to us. The second was a financial policy issue: my husband's recent appointment was canceled because he was only informed of his full out-of-pocket cost on the day of service, rather than in advance. When he was unable to pay the full amount that day, he had to cancel, and he was later refused service entirely. We feel these incidents reflect a concerning lack of attention to both patient care and communication. This focus on financial policies over the well-being of long-term patients has been a major turnoff for us. As a result, we will be transferring the dental records for our family of four to a new provider.

The only thing we had to do was a referral to another office to check on some wisdom teeth. I would've gave them 4 1/2 stars But don't have that option, we'll see how the next few visits go and will update the rating later as needed. I would recommend this office for other people and families.

I was able to get them filled over a few appointments, and front desk (Mahwash!) has been extremely gracious in accommodating my schedule and informing me of last minute openings which might allow me to get it all done faster. Dr. Kim is super patient and attentive, and the Dental Assistant (who's name I didn't quite catch) is much of the same. The space is extremely clean and professional; combined with the communicative natures of the dentists it's such a pleasant departure from my last dentist! They're following COVID protocols to a T, with sign in/disinfected pens/plastic barriers at front desk/ and socially distanced appointments.

However, this office has been overcharging me, billing incorrectly, and failing to verify coverage with my provider. I've had multiple billing problems and mysterious extra charges that were never explained properly. When I tried to get clarification, I was met with incompetence and zero accountability. I also contacted my insurance company that verified that they had been submitting extra charges, but the dental office will give you the run-around, as to not have to take accountability. Something is seriously wrong with how they handle insurance claims, and it feels like a scam. If you value transparency and honest business practices, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This place is either completely disorganized or deliberately misleading patients to overcharge them. Either way, I will never be returning, and I urge others to be cautious.
