Only to be told that I have to LOSE WEIGHT, before he will even consider meeting with me for an appointment, not surgery an appointment. That is CRAZY! . I tried to find him on Florida Dept of health to view his records and he is no where to be found? Weird for a doctor that has been in practice so long??

Couldn't find anyone that specialized in spinal injuries in Clermont that accepts BCBS. Except for Dr Flynn who comes out to Clermont on Wednesdays. Unfortunately, his new patient appointments were booked out until September in the Clermont office. There was no way I could deal with this pain for that long. Thankfully, they found an opening at the Orlando office for the very next day which was yesterday. The front office staff was polite and professional. I was informed when I called that I should print and complete the new patient package so everything was ready to go when I got there. My wait was roughly 5 minutes in the waiting room. The MA that brought me to the exam room was friendly and thorough. They did an X-ray right in the office and the doctor came in shortly afterwards. There were actually 2 doctors that came in separately. I can't remember the name of the first one and then Dr Flynn came in. Both were great! They were both very thorough and patient with all of the options and my questions. I did not feel rushed by them. Both had excellent bedside manners. With prescriptions in tow, I hobbled out pretty confident that this pain would soon be gone. A day later, I woke up to virtually no pain with the aid of the prescriptions of course. I am scheduling the MRI as prescribed by Dr Flynn to get to the root of the issue so it doesn't come back once the corticosteroids are out. Follow-up with the doctor will be done in the Clermont office. Excellent experience all around!

So you wait, fill out the paperwork and then get lost in the Orlando traffic. BIG MISTAKE. You try to call while driving to see if you need to reschedule or keep coming, only to be left on hold the entire 6 mins you are late driving there. Get to the parking garage, run inside wait in line and are told you are at the wrong check in line & sent around the corner. You get around the corner to a line with 6 people in it. by now I am 15 mins late & guess what...They refuse to see me and make me reschedule. The place is a joke and have no grace. This was my first visit. FYI I will not reschedule. -

I underwent surgery with Dr. Van Dyke in December 2022. He is a wonderful, respectful, and knowledgeable professional, and my surgery was excellent. I am very thankful to Dr. Van Dyke. Recently, I scheduled an appointment to discuss issues with my other hip, which has been bothering me lately. I requested ADA accommodations in the school district, and they are pressing me for the necessary documentation. I sent all the required documents to the office, and Dr. Van Dyke discussed the restrictions with me. However, I am still waiting for the documentation. First, Ms. Kayla began harassing me with calls to make a $50 payment for the documentation, which I agreed to pay on the 31st. I received more than five calls in my voicemail asking me to make the payment. When call back, I was told that the forms were ready and just needed payment. I stated I was going to make that payment on the 30th. On that day I called and made the payment and was told that I had to wait for the payment to clear before receiving the forms. Today is the 31st, and when I called this morning, I was informed that the forms "ARE NOT READY" and that I have to wait until Monday to speak with Ms. Kayla because she is not in the office today. I find this situation in poor taste and disrespectful. First, I was told the forms were ready. Second, I was harassed for the payment. Third, after making the payment, I was told I had to wait for the payment to clear. Finally, the forms are still not ready. It feels like I was misled to make a payment in advance. I am sorry for Dr. Van Dyke, as I know he is not aware of this situation.

Both members of the team listened carefully to the medical events regarding that joint over 11 years ago, took great care in viewing the MRI disc, photos, reports from several other diagnostic tools. I felt that this team had concern for me as a patient. They answered all my questions focusing on my concerns first and adding information, explaining what could work or not in my situation. I will continue without any reservation my knee's medical journey with them. And they are friendly too!

They never had any issues with getting my information correct or losing my information (which has happened at other offices). They were patient and helpful. Their scheaduling and check out were efficient and I actually felt like they cared. The x-ray tech even had a great sense of humor. Dr. Wiernik was brief and to the point. I never felt rushed but I also never felt like he was wasting my time. He was knowledgable and realistic and his assessment of the problem and the time needed was dead on.

I essentially cut every ligament of my leg straight across my shin bone. I had no upward movement on my right foot and after letting it heal two weeks hoping for it to "fix itself" I returned to work and continued on with my life. Two months in I couldn't handle the pain of my feet due to my foot slapping at the ground with every step. I regularly lift heavy objects, had been very active, and constantly am up and down unsteady structures as part of my job. Needless to say I had enough and decided to go to a local Centra Care, the doctor failed to recognize that I had any damage to my leg..once again. I found the Orlando Orthopaedic Center on lee road by chance on Google and scheduled a consultation. As soon. As Dr. Wiernik finished his short exam he said "We need to get you into surgery, like now". I am not one for trusting doctors or wanting to get sliced open, but I trusted this guy right off the bat. A week later I was in their Downtown Orlando surgery center and was highly impressed with the smoothness of the process. Being in a cast for a few months was horrible but it's been a year now and my leg is strong and I'm slowly getting back to the active life I used to have. This guy is golden with what he does. A few months ago my wife cracked her toe under a chair and I took her to his office. He didn't recognize me but treated my wife with the same professionalism he did with me. Some of the receptionists can be kind of snobby but the Doctor is who makes the office and saying you trust someone to cut you open is a huge thing.

He would ask me a question during the procedure and then all but accuse me of lying. I was 70 years old at the time. He showed no respect, injected my hand with me standing with my hand held out over the sink. Evidently there was some kind of bleeding issue so he told me to return in two days for follow up. When I did, he accused me of "just showing up" without an appointment I assure you, I had a follow up appointment. When I returned to have my stitches taken out, he was Mr Niceguy. I believe his office staff told him how out of line he was and he was trying to make up for it. Even the office manager came in and asked for a good review on Yelp I realize this happened a few years ago but at the time, I felt humiliated and just plain hurt. I've never forgotten this rude, insolence behavior from anyone. By the way, my trigger finger has healed and not caused me any more problems. He told me 4 to 6 weeks rehab, as did my physical therapist. At 4 months I was completely recovered, stopped PT and home exercise, and resumed playing senior softball 4 days/week and going to the gym. Dr. Jablonski is a skilled professional that I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends!
