You never know you need a lawyer until you actually need one. My husband unfortunately was involved…read morein a pedestrian accident with an UBER in the late evening when he was struck. We didn't even know where to start and had so many questions. How would we contact the person who hit us and UBER? How would we be able to gather all the facts? Who would help with my husbands medical care? All these questions looming on top of the fact that he had a broken and displaced fracture of the femur and required  emergency surgery with a rod placement in the femur. We didn't really know where to start and it was such a difficult time considering the road to recovery as well and what the doctors said would be months and months of therapy. I knew we wouldn't be able to handle this on our own. And that is when the search began - friends, online and facebook groups even asking for the best of the best. We narrowed the search to a couple law firms and asked tons of questions after we heard the Franklin law firm from a couple people. We made the decision to use the Franklin law firm after meeting their team and really just feeling the most comfortable with them. They seemed to really know the ins and outs of an UBER case and told us detail how they would move forward, from the biggest details to the smallest And that is when we saw the work that they did - they asked us for before pictures of the accident, got to know us, asking questions about everyday life and really learning how the accident affected us. We felt we weren't just dollars and cents. They told us UBER and their lawyers, as they expected, were playing games and fighting really hard, and that is when they told us they would be filing a lawsuit. We had no hesitation and fully trusted them. We loved the fact that they were not scared to go head to head and try to get us some justice. And in the end, we did get the justice we so desperately needed with them securing a settlement that really took care of us. They are kind, warm and fearless attorneys - exactly the type of lawyers you need when going through a traumatic time. We cannot thank them enough for making the process as easy as they did.

I was injured while working a corporate desk job, and my previous employer tried to leverage a personal family tragedy to their advantage -- not only to absolve themselves of responsibility for the injury, but to ensure I never received a settlement at all. My attorneys took me on contingency and moved fast to get my case started. They found lien doctors to treat me while the case was ongoing, advised me on financial and medical resources, navigated every legal challenge with ease, protected me by making sure my family tragedy was never used against me, and negotiated a settlement three times what I was told to expect -- if I got anything at all. They were also aware of my financial needs & stayed true to their promise to settle my case within a year. Sherif and Arash are not only excellent attorneys, they are personable, kind, and treated me like family. As a Black woman, I felt genuinely advocated for. They made sure I was well prepared for depositions and spent countless hours on the phone with me so I always felt supported. I had never been in this position before, and they made the entire experience so stress-free that I never had to worry. Their whole staff was kind and helpful at every step. I recommend Obrero Law 1000%.

This was the first time I've hired an attorney for anything. We spoke with several before choosing Dina as she was responsive, empathetic, no-nonsense and has a great reputation along with the firm Vanaman German. I was nervous about the costs spinning out of control but thankfully, they did not. Dina was always clear about the financial aspect of things as well as the ins and outs of what was happening with our case. No one should have to hire an attorney to get a free appropriate education, but if things don't go well with the school district, or something just seems off, I cannot emphasize just how helpful it is to have a good attorney to help! I have no doubt we would have not gotten as good of a result without Dina and Vanaman German's help. Contrary to some warnings I'd gotten from others, having someone fight for us allowed me to avoid getting too hot-headed and damaging our relationship with our school district.
