I would be careful dealing with Eddie Stanfield!!!! He's shady! We rented a house from him and he…read morewas taking our rent money, but not making the payments and lost the property at (61 a. Main st in Templeton). He didn't even tell us what was happening! We found out when a real estate agent showed up and knocked on the door to show the place! And then my husband called him to find out if the lady was for real, and he said "yes, I'm selling the property" and Jason then asked "so, should we start looking for a place" and he said "yes that's probably a good idea". And the very next day, Eddie shows up and gives me a paper and said "here's the paperwork Jason asked for last night" Not realizing I heard the whole conversation the night before and that Jason was home. The paper was a 30 day notice to move. Jason came downstairs at that time and had a few words with Eddie! He also didn't tell us that we had to pay the water for the ENTIRE property that included a business (Getaway RV) on the back of the property. There was a break in a water pipe that leaked underground for sometime and when we really noticed it, we told him about it, and he tried to make us pay the ENTIRE water bill for the leak! Along with taking over 6 months to replace the broken dishwasher and toilet because he didn't want to pay for it out of his pocket. He got some kind of appliance insurance and we FINALLY got them replaced. And now, he's giving us bad references on our rental history with him!!! We always paid our rent and NEVER had problems on our side!!!! We even got our FULL deposit back from him!!!! So now, I'm gathering everything to file a slander lawsuit against him!!!
