The absolute WORST customer service. I'm giving one star because Yelp forces me to pick something in order to post. We were with Allstate for 10 years with a different office/rep for our home and car insurance. We ended up switching because we found a better price for the same coverage. Never had a problem but found a better rate. Came back after 2 years to this office and branch headed by Jose Fernandez. Have stuck with them for the past 5 years. Slowly our rates have been creeping up. Our cars are losing value as they age, but somehow our rates kept going up every 6 months. We never had a claim so had little interaction with Jose or his team. Called to question our rates and see if they could explain why rates were increasing. The only thing they offered was higher deductible or less coverage. Did not try to work with us despite the fact we had been with them so long and never had a claim. We were not interested and so started shopping around again. We found a rate for the same deductible and coverage for about 1/2 of what we were paying. My husband called to cancel and was met the most aggressive and rude response from a licensed Sales Producer in the office named Jonathan Gibson. Long story short, he insulted, condescended and ultimately hung up on my husband. Unsure if he understood to cancel our policy, I called him back and was met with the same aggressive tone and insults to myself and my husband and then hung up on again. Since we still were not certain our policy would be canceled, as well as being concerned about the treatment we had both received, we sent an email to Jose to confirm our cancellation and formally voice our concern about the way we were treated by his staff. Did he respond? Nope, received an email from the very person we both were hung up on by ..."Your policy has been cancelled and will not be charged. Have a good day." No acknowledgement from Jose, no apology, no thank you for 15 years with Allstate...just that. I had essentially no complaints about Allstate insurance as a company, but will not ever return if they have people like Jose Fernandez and Jonathon Gibson representing them. A big thumbs down and warning to steer clear of this office if you choose to go with Allstate for insurance. read more
