After doing a lot of Google searches and calling numerous offices looking for the right Periodontist, we chose Dr. Thunell's office. This office made me feel incredibly comfortable from the very first phone call. They knew what they were talking about and followed up with me when they said they would. Not only they were very upfront with the cost and potential amount of time needed for the appointment( unlike many of the other offices,) all of their staff were very friendly and professional. In addition, Dr. Thunell is incredibly competent, patient, and down-to-earth. He made sure to explain to my young son what the procedures would be like(without scaring him) ahead of time, he also went out of his way to ensure my son felt comfortable during the entire appointment. They truly have a wonderful team!

When I arrived to my appointment, I was told the medication they were going to use was expired, so they used a different medication - this is not what I had paid for. After the procedure I called the office to get a refund for the medication I purchased that they were unable to use - she had to speak with the provider - who was rude and defensive. It was agreed he would take 50% off the amount I was charged. Fast forward 2 months - I get another invoice stating I owe them money - when really they owe me money. In addition to the medication issue - the service I received was terrible. My situation is worse now then it was when I went in for the bone graft.
