I first met Jordan when he photographed my sister's wedding in 2015. When my now husband and I got engaged, I knew I wanted Jordan to capture our wedding as well. I reached out on his website and set up a meeting. We went to his studio and saw all the gorgeous photos of different weddings, and he instantly clicked with my husband. They joked with each other as if they had been best friends for years. Jordan is so easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable from the first minute. He will make a joke to lighten the mood in the right moment if you're nervous on your wedding day. He knows all the right directions to give to get the perfect photos. I knew we were in good hands, and his experience would result in perfect shots. We just saw our proofs and they are nothing short of amazing. Jordan was the photographer at my brother's wedding, but originally we found him because he came highly recommended by multiple Philly/NJ area venues. We hired him for our wedding as soon as we met him. Jordan doesn't focus on being too posed, and he doesn't say things like "now do something silly in this one". Instead, he gets to know the wedding party and makes jokes/has fun so that the silliness happens on its own. His photos feel genuine, natural, and unique to the wedding. Jordan and his team are efficient and talented. They come with a plan and schedule for photos that allowed us to get every shot we wanted without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. He made the day effortless and again, I can't emphasize enough how funny and weird he can be (we took pictures in a random corn maze and they turned out HAUNTINGLY beautiful. When you first saw my wedding photographs I was OVERWHELMED. ELATED. They were everything I wanted and beyond. He curates the most beautiful selection into an album and lets you give feedback (though he typically does the job perfectly on his own). He takes so many fun candids throughout that you might've missed on wedding night, and he captures your joy without ever having you leave the dance floor. We had our wedding back in August and we were absolutely blown away by Jordan and his team! We found Jordan through the knot. And we weren't sure how to go about planning or picking anything for our wedding...but after talking to Jordan he really helped put us at ease. We were looking for a candid-style photographer with a relaxed type of style that's both modern and timeless. That's exactly what we got! We hired Jordan for our wedding day and were really let down. When we first met Jordan, he was energetic, kind and seemed really interested in giving us everything we wanted. Then on the day of, he really disappointed us. He had a sour attitude, disrespected my husband's culture, was impatient with my disabled mother and many guests commented that he was rude to them. A handful of our photos turned out great, but most are mediocre at best, and they don't really capture our energy as a couple. He persistently tried to upsell us after we were explicit about our budget. I would NOT recommend Jordan Brian for this special of a day. If you do choose him, look at the fine print as he also made us pay a lot extra for the digital copies of the few shots that were enhanced. read more

We found Jordan Brian on a list of recommended vendors for our ceremony/reception venue, Grounds for Sculpture - his prior experience at the site was a huge plus for us. We set up a phone call to discuss his services, and after seeing his portfolio and speaking with him, we felt like he would be a good fit for our needs. Working with Jordan Brian was great! He was always responsive to email/text, provided additional services (e.g. livestreaming the ceremony) that we thought to ask for after initially booking him, and maintained a good, positive energy throughout the entire wedding day. Even though we spent multiple hours shooting photos prior to the ceremony, we felt like that time flew by. We first saw the finished wedding photos during a private screening in Jordan Brian's studio. He set up a really nice atmosphere and had a professional presentation. The photos themselves blew us away. He took hundreds of gorgeous photos with all different themes: artistic, sweet, camera-aware, candid, scenic, and intimate. He designed an album with 30 beautifully curated spreads and had us pick our favorites for the final selection. I would highly advise against using this photographer/studio. I was encouraged to use Jordan Brian for my engagement photos by others who claimed to have had good experiences before me. Upon contacting him, he was eager to tell them that he would ensure that everything was taken care of -- and that upon completion I would receive all prints that were requested. Though I largely did this for my mom, I thought that $300 per hour was steep for a photographer. However, we paid for 2 hours of his time to shoot a variety of photos. He was cordial and easy enough to work with during the shooting. The serious issues came post-processing. I was ensured that I would receive all final prints following the purchase of $1500 of services (!) -- Yikes, these are not even my wedding photos. So fine, both my mom and I purchased the smallest album I have EVER seen (a 5X5 album). I wouldn't chalk it up to anything I would have really wanted -- and I would highly advise against purchasing this item. It is definitely not worth the $300 price tag. So, following all of our very large sums of money put towards these items, I FINALLY received what I was truly after, the digital versions. And, despite the fact that I paid for each individual photo in the super small album to be touched up, I never received the final versions digitally.... I only received "color corrected" versions. I am now working with another photographer (in the New York area if you would like a recommendation) that is fixing all of the photos that I have already paid to have completed. I wish I would have gone with someone else entirely. The only good news that came out of this was have been able to speak with my wedding photographer who will be providing me with all the final digital touch ups for my wedding. I think that Jordan charges prices that are not at all reasonable for what he delivers. I would spend your effort looking into another photographer. read more

My husband and I's love of Jordan's Photography borders on obsession. Fortunately, everyone that has seen the pictures understands and can't blame us for wanting to wallpaper our house in his work. If you ever dreamed of looking like a print ad in Vogue (No one else? Just me?), you need to hire Jordan for your event. In all seriousness, Jordan Brian Photography has been on my radar since I saw pictures posted from a classmate's wedding. When I got engaged myself about 3 years later, I could barely look at other photographer's work with real consideration because I knew how unique, professional, and timeless Jordan's was in comparison. He is professional without being stuffy. He is personable, and brings this incredible confidence and surety to a session. He made everyone of my guests, especially the bridal party, feel like they were a special part of our day (which they were). He could get even the shyest of kids to smile, but was never so in-your-face to feel obtrusive. It is a rare skill set. At first glance, he's on the higher end, price-wise, but when you consider all you get for the money, including four albums and an engagement (Getting to Know You) session, it really isn't that much more than you would pay for the average wedding photographer. And his work is far beyond average. Jordan is happy to take suggestions, but everything seems to work best when we let him call the shots...for the shots. My husband and I were content to just follow his lead and trust that he knew better than we did - which he did. Personally, I thought it was lovely to have someone know that he could make my husband and I look and feel as happy and comfortable with each other as we actually are in real life. It was one less thing to worry about. Very long story short, hiring Jordan is the very best place to spend your wedding budget. Do not think twice. About 10 years ago Jordan was the photographer for my cousin. When I got engaged my cousin immediately recommended Jordan, saying that he and his wife still love looking through their wedding photos. When I started researching photographers for our wedding, I initially read reviews online and quickly became overwhelmed with the quantity of information. I reached out to my event coordinator at Ballroom at the Ben and she recommended a few photographers, one of them being Jordan Brian. When I opened up his website, I immediately fell in love with his photographs which are truly art! He captures the pure emotion of the day and does not leave out any small detail. I did more research just to cover my ground but really couldn't find another photographer as talented as Jordan. After speaking with Jordan, I could tell that he had the personality to make us feel at ease on our wedding day and the expertise to capture the most special moments. My husband and I were planning our PA wedding from GA and he was so helpful and accommodating to us by setting up WebEx meetings when we could not meet in person. He made several suggestions that allowed us to maximize our time celebrating with family and friends but also capture all the pictures that we wanted (which ended up really decreasing the stress of the big day). Our wedding party and family could not stop talking about how much they loved Jordan and how his humor made everyone feel relaxed. A few days after the wedding, Jordan sent us 10 sneak peek pictures which blew us away! I am still receiving messages complimenting our pictures that we posted back in September! About a month after the wedding, we had another WebEx meeting where Jordan revealed the most beautiful album that he put together from our day. The album was spectacular and I could tell it took an extensive amount of time and talent to put together the photographs in a way that tells a perfect story. The flow of pictures truly make you feel like you are present on the wedding day and brought us back to such special memories. I wish I could say that Jordan Brian Photography was a good business to have at my wedding. To date, I have not recieved my album and I have not recieved the photos. We paid in full, $2800, and have not recieved anything in return except for stubborness and poor customer service. My wife and I missed a deadline that he established and now he holds our photos hostage. He will not provide the finished CD as an alternative. I would not recommend their services. Every photo on the CD he provided has a watermark on the photo with his company logo, so we could not print or have another company print the photos (basically, this company is forcing us to use thier services even though the quality of the service and customer service is very poor). Below is a list of my complaint. 1. They will not give us the wedding album (the company stated that this had a $1,800.00 value) because we missed a deadline they established with out proper notification. - I requested the album and they stated that we would have to pay another $1000.00 to get the album because the company no longer uses the same software to develop the album. - I attempted to comprimise and I asked them to remove the water mark on the photos and they stated that I would have to pay $1000.00 for the non-watermarked photos. - They stated that removing the watermark and touching up the photos would not take them long (1 day). *** I believe I have not recieved what I paid for and the company and owner (Jordan Brian) is being unreasonable. I also believe that they owe me $1,800.00, an album, or the photos without the water mark. read more

Jordan was very reliable and always promptly responded to any questions or concerns via email or telephone. I loooved that he used our engagement photos as a sign in book and a slideshow at our wedding so that our guest would have an opportunity to view the pictures (which turned out amazing). We did have to pay a decent amount more for the sign in book to have enough pages which we werent originally expecting. The day of the wedding he was on time (actually early which was a plus) and did an excellent job getting everyone into the pictures and making it a fun experience. Are pictures are amazing and he captured our day perfectly. I LOVED JORDAN!! Not only is he an amazing photographer, he really makes an effort to make your day perfect!! He's GREAT with kids and dogs! He insisted with had our dog in our wedding pictures, and I'm so glad we did. He's also always very calm, even when a problem arises. On our wedding day our bridal party was running a little behind with makeup and hair, but my MOH and I were finished first, and that was all that mattered. Jordan was perfectly okay with this and we started shooting right away. Any ideas we had for specific shoots we did. He really cares about you on your BIG day. I wouldn't have had it any other way. I met Jordan Brian through an acquaintance's wedding. And I can honestly say that my PICTURES are gorgeous. BUT! He is TERRIBLE to work with as a person. When we took our engagement shots I had expressed repeatedly a desire for "fall" and when the leaves weren't changing (darn that nature) and I asked to reschedule he told me "No, a week is too short notice", so I went along with "not fall". Then we had planned to shoot at a "coffee shop" (our first date and engagement took place at one) and he took us to a location that had no coffee shop. When he realized this he said "Oh, well, is that cool that there's not one here?". He also gave me the start time of the photos at 12:00 noon the DAY OF THE SHOOT. All this time I stayed laid back because for one, I AM a laid back person, and two I worried that a pissed off photographer wouldn't take good shots. THEN, closer to the wedding I repeatedly tried to contact him to set up my time line and he blew me off. He finally contacted me Wednesday afternoon (my wedding was the upcoming Saturday) at which point he requested I move my timing around on my hair appointment and limo pickup (that's easy 72 hours out haha). The DAY OF, he snapped at my bridesmaids and at ME because the limo, which I HAD moved, was late picking us up and therefore late arriving at the venue. He also fought with my DJ because my DJ needed to have him there to do the "cutting the cake shots" when he wanted to eat his dinner. The pictures: he took formal shots of both mine and my husband's family (total 13 ppl) but other then that I only have 2 pictures of my parents together, that's it. NONE of my husband's sister and HER husband. NONE of my grandmothers (well one but she's asleep). I had 4 "speakers" in the ceremony, and I have pictures of 3 of them. And nothing of our families watching the ceremony unless they were actively IN the wedding. SO, he missed a lot, which I was disappointed in. Then came the breaking point. HE DESIGNED MY WEDDING ALBUM WITHOUT ME! He didn't even ask me what my favorite pictures were! (apparently "designing an album is too overwhelming for most brides" his words, not mine) And when I wanted to make changes? I was CHARGED to do so! And the "15 spreads totaling 30 pages"? It equals about 40 pictures. That's it! (FYI to brides planning... the other 6 of my friends who got married around the same time as me have approx 100 in THEIR album and they worked with the photographer to design it.). At this point I was very upset. While everything had "technically" turned out lovely, none of it had been quite what I wanted. So I met with him to go over the album and to let him know how I felt. He told me: "Well it's you're fault because you're too nice." Regarding why he had blown off my emails and requests? "I didn't feel like I needed to be as attentive to you because you weren't a bridezilla". YEP! SO, I redid my album and added extra pictures to make it what I wanted (it cost an additional $900) and EVERY STEP OF THE WAY HE FOUGHT ME (only I was no longer nice). He argued with me if I wanted to turn a picture color, set up a spread a way he didn't like, include a picture he felt didn't "flow", swap a picture, you name it he fought with me on it. So, I can't recommend him. His work? It's wonderful, no doubt about it. But he doesn't care a bit about you or what you want. He only responds to nastiness, which is not the way I work, so unless you want to fight with him, don't bother. It wasn't worth the fight. read more

Once we met Jordan, we knew we had found our photographer! He is a sweet, charming, funny guy who makes you feel as though nothing else exists but you. We had our "Getting to know you" session, and we were a bit nervous! Jordan was able to calm and relax us, and we got beautiful "Save the Dates' and our guest sign in album from that shoot. Jordan was also an amazing asset to our wedding day! His professionalism, and charisma created a fun atmosphere to what would otherwise be just a normal photo-op. We had very restricted time constraints since our wedding was so early in the day, but Jordan was able to capture it all, beautifully!! Our friends and family were talking about him non-stop throughout the day and the days after about how great he was, and how the great the pictures are going to be... and he proved them all right! The feedback we've gotten from showing the pictures is nothing but positive, glowing remarks! On a personal note - it was comforting to me, the bride, to have someone who I've come to know and trust around at the wedding. Even if I got a little overwhelmed at times, his familiar face helped to ease the tension. And for that, Jordan, I thank you!!! We will cherish our wedding day through your incredible pictures for the rest of our lives!!! read more

Jordan is an amazing photographer! He definately treats his work as art and makes sure he captures every moment of your wedding day. He gives you a timeline of your day so you don't have to worry about a thing at your wedding, just smiling for the camera and enjoying your wedding day. His candid shots are amazing which are my favorite. He was so pleasant to work with, my family and friends thoroughly enjoyed him at our wedding. He also shot our engagement session as well and christmas pictures. He has a very unique style and is very creative. I receive compliments very frequently on all of our pictures. I would highly recommend him. He isn't cheap but you really pay for what you get. So if you want amazing, quality photographs that will last forever, since that is all you have left after your wedding - then I would absolutey go with Jordan Brian.
