In a town of 1700 (at last count) that is more than 60 miles from anywhere on a well and popularly traveled road, this is your only option for towing and they take full advantage of that. We blew a tire 45 miles out of town and were referred by AAA, but then... 4 bucks a mile, 75 bucks just to roll the truck out (68 with AAA!) - 60 miles from anywhere in a town that is closed on Sundays. I'll give 'em 2 stars for the trip to get us, but they don't stock or change passenger tires, and have no services for travelers beyond towing. They park my van on their lot overnight rather than leaving it at the only service center in town, and when I go to get it in the morning I get charged an extra 75 bucks (no warning, added at the till) to have the vehicle moved off of their lot and dropped off at the service center 2 miles away (where it could have been dropped the night before on the same run). They're your only option, so if you want my advice, try not to break down within a hundred miles of Lusk, Wyoming. read more

I was driving from NH to UT and had a head gasket blow on a Saturday afternoon. Called AAA and they sent Mike from Jordan's to pick me up. He drove me over 200 miles to a shop in CO, who specializes in my uncommon vehicle. Mike was super professional. He took his time in the bitter cold to tie my vehicle down properly, which impressed me. We didn't make it far when the heat went out in the truck so he dropped me at a gas station with his son-in-law and a heat lamp to run back to the shop and fix it. He was very personable and I felt comfortable with him. When we got to the shop he put me near an outlet so I could plug my electric heater in, saving my fuel for my heater and my battery (because I couldn't run the engine to charge). I am incredibly grateful for his attention to detail and willingness to stay up all night to get me to a safe location. Super awesome AAA shop and I will sing your praises everywhere I can. We recently had a breakdown on our fifth wheel putting us on the side of the highway just north of Lusk. Jim promptly responded to ur call for help. He helped us get our camper to his shop where he got us hooked up to power and water so we could stay in our camper until repairs could be made. Of course we broke down on Saturday. Jim and his staff did a great job of repairing our problem and getting us back on the road. He charged a very reasonable fee for all the work they did. Motor home starter died at rest stop 45? Miles N of Lusk WY on US 85. Called insurance and Jordan showed within an hour w a large rig that could easily tow my 24' motor home. They were courteous and pleasant to deal with. They towed me to their yard where I overnighted for free. The next day. They had me ready to go by 10:00 am. Charges were for labor and parts and in line w what I would have paid elsewhere. Overall a good experience considering I was out in the middle of nowhere. read more

Not sure of the TOTAL we will owe yet so I am leaving it at 4 stars but these guys were great to deal with. We had problems with our truck losing power and in the process, my hubby noticed that the RV had 2 bad tires with wire showing. Turns out that we had a broken axle [causing the tires to rub] that needed welding, and Jim rightfully commented that everything happens for a reason! Imagine! So, AAA RV+ paid for 200 miles of our truck tow to Littleton, and the welder that was gone for the eclipse welded the axle on the RV. Reasonable rates as far as I know so far! read more

Stay far away from Moe, Larry and Curly, at Jordan Automotive, literally. If you get a tow from these guys, tell them to drop you off at Hiway Brake & Alignment Service or TRI-State Generation & Transmission. Any place in town but here. If I were able to give no stars I would. Diagnosed wrong problem and tried to sell me an engine. Forced me to forfeit a mint car, a total loss. They kept the car and lived up to their name - auto wreckers. Watch out! Avoid Lusk WY like the plague. read more

Jim, with Jordan automotive (the owner) was incredible to work with and not only did his job, but went beyond his job to take care of my wife and I when we broke down on the side of the road, 1.8 miles north of Lusk, WY. Our's was a little different as we had a truck, with trailer in tow (40' fifth wheel trailer). Truck broke down and we had to be be towed 150 miles to Rapid City, SD to have repair. Mr Jordan was the ONLY service that would respond, and of the ones that considered the tow were considerable less in price.
