The back table/cubby has a large selection of board games and room for a group of friends as well. NOT FANCY - in fact, lacking any real decor - but a good place to get the drink you want.

They bring around great little snack trays (borrel hapjes) of local sausages, good cheeses and pickles, etc. The outside seems to attract some of the local shoppers (it's located at the Southern end of two main shopping streets) while the inside seems to be a mix of younger hipsters and older locals, all drinking in harmony. They have short menu, which I haven't tried, but if its like the free appetizers, it will be simple but wholesome fare. It's small, so I wouldn't recommend it for groups, but its definitely "gezellig" and the staff and owners clearly care about high quality food, drinks and service.
