Jonty's cottage is a pretty slate and stone Lake District cottage in beautiful Elterwater. Our favourite place for walks in Langdale. Jonty's is very clean and well maintained, with everything needed for a self catering holiday. Although the Brit is only 75m away if you don't want to cook. We've stayed in lots of cottages but Jonty's is always a favourite because it is quiet and well appointed. read more

Tucked away in the charming village of Elterwater in heart of the English Lakes, Jonty's Cottage is ideally located between the picturesque Great Langdale and Little Langdale valleys, and is an ideal location for your Lake District holiday. Sit back and relax in luxurious comfort, absorb the breathtaking view of the Lake District hills from the lounge in front of the wood burning stove, and let stress melt away. Newly refurbished, Jonty's blends a traditional c1840 Lakeland stone and slate cottage, with sumptuous contemporary modern comfort. Jonty's is the ground floor of an old Saw Mill, sleeping four people in modern two bedroom apartment comfort and style, within a spacious old stone building of immense character.
