Just had a very disappointing experience, given the reputation of Jonker's. I purchased six identical plants less than a year ago. One did not survive. I returned it thinking they would stand behind their guarantee. Two very inattentive women looked at it and said Linda would have to help. One walked me to Linda. Linda said there was nothing she could do. No replacement. No credit. No customer service. Looks like they lost a customer. read more

I did not call you from the parking lot. And if the Hotlips Salvia is ordered early why didn't you order some for your customers? No one told me that only the landscapers were able to buy them. All I was told is that someone who spends tens of thousands of dollars a year gets the Salvia. Imagine how I felt knowing that only a rich person can have the Salvia. I felt discriminated against because I am only a middle class blue collar person, not rich. It's like a restaurant having tables for only certain people who spend lots of money. Next year order me some Salvia or set some out for your customers. read more

If you like plants even a little bit, check out Jonker's. If you like Capuchin monkeys, there's one that lives in the greenhouse, so reason #2 to check them out. This place is bigger than it looks when you first walk in to the store! The greenhouse in the back is stocked with plenty of cacti, succulents, beautiful foliage, and planters, which are very affordable. I haven't been to the larger outdoor garden area during warmer months yet, but I plan on going. read more

My favorite place to pass the time in the spring and summer. Grab a wagon that they provide and start strolling the garden. Great selection of perennials and annuals. Creative pots already planted for u that u can purchase. Helpful staff that are all gardeners themselves. There is a smaller indoor garden shop as well. They have more delicate plants like orchids and house plants. Have also attended the Christmas Open House where they have a lecture type demo. It is my favorite way to kick off the holiday. Today wanted to check out the sale on ceramics. Unfortunately there were cacti on display and I picked up a pot check it out. It looked spineless and I was considering it for our garden when a person who worked there walked over. Just about the time she asked if I had been "stung" I realized I had about 20 spines in my thumb which were practically invisible. The employee told me that they had moved the flat of plants there last fall and they had gotten stung so bad they left it there all winter; no one wanted to deal with it. My family and I were quite disgusted, my granddaughter was standing with me when this happened. I was able to pick them out with tweezers and duct tape but they sure hurt for the size they were. Such a cute plant and it looked smooth as could be. I hope they move them. read more
