Please let me give you a heads up about Jones Nursery. A warning, if you like getting ripped off with poor quality trees and bushes, then having people that work there especially the owner's wife talk to you like (Deb) she is an irate ignorant person that she thinks like she know it all maybe you might like this place this place. Since the end of April or beginning of May I spent a decent amount of money there buying special bushes. Jones Nursery do not back their inventory at all. It took about a month they sold me an expensive bush that had a disease and of course it died. I called them and they told me that I did not water properly. It was watered every day. The women Deb was practically screaming at me on the phone. There was no shot of compensating me not even for a few bucks for my next purchase. Every one that works there can't stand this women because she so ignorant to everyone. After the rude conversation that she had with me on the phone I told her she would never see me at her nursery again. Only two people that work there Jason and their daughter are the only decent people there. Please stay away from this place they are extremely over priced, customer service skills are horrific, and always in any business doesn't the purchaser get treated nicely so that you would return again? Not this place they could care less. Please don't waste your time with these low life's or having them steal your money for the poor quality products that they sell. I know wholesalers that won't deal with Jones nursery. Again. stay away, you will get ripped off for sure. They should not even be in business. Purchased 2 crape myrtles at 4:30pm on June 8th $260.00 each. Asked if there were any discounts available and was told no. Brought the trees home unloaded them and around 6:00pm went to their web site and noticed they had a spring promotion going on 15% off purchase of $200 or more. Called 8:30 on the 9th and asked if I could get the promotion discount and was told no, not on previous sales but I could use it next time! What a joke!!! RUN, RUN, RUN!!! Avoid this nursery at all costs. I bought an expensive tree after the late frost this May. I was concerned about the tree especially since there is no warranty offered. The owner's daughter helped me and said since the new growth was "burned" because of the frost, she would note my concerns and honor a replacement if there was an issue. When I came back a month later, the daughter told the owner about the concerns and had even documented the "tree shock" on a receipt and left it for her mother. The owner came out and looked at the tree and blamed the tree turning brown and dropping all it's needles on us. She said it had nothing to do with the tree and it was all our fault, meanwhile all additional plants/trees that we bought at two other nurseries (that offered warranties because they stand behind what they sell) were healthy and doing well. When we asked the owner to honor the replacement promised she said "XUCK YOU"! At no time did we use ANY foul language. I recommend Bloomers or Bass Brothers for all your nursery needs! Jones Nursery is deceitful and the owner has no class. read more
