When researching various property management companies, Good Life's approach was the most straightforward and transparent with no long term commitments. After speaking with them multiple times with various questions, I was left with a feeling of assurance that I was in good hands. Being a first time landlord, I have no experience in knowing how to screen tenants, knowing the rules, etc., especially when my background is not in the real estate and rental business. Having a busy work schedule also means that I won't likely be able to attend to the tenant's needs in a timely manner. This is where Good Life fills in the gaps for me. The team at Good Life during the onboarding process has been super helpful and efficient in getting the property ready, whereas it would've taken me ages in trying to do it myself. I was assigned Andrei as my property manager and it's been a great start. He has been open, transparent, professional, and great to work with since the start. I recently had an online shopping shipment mis-delivered to my rental property, to which Andrei was instrumental in helping to coordinate the handoff between the tenant and me. Even though Andrei is my primary contact, I can see that they have great teamwork. On one weekend, I had a question to which I received an out-of-office note from him. But rest assured, another team member stepped in that day during his time off to help with my question. Good Life also has a great online portal for me to see all the documents and tax information. Their services have impressed me since the beginning, and I look forward to a great relationship moving forward. Keep up the great work, Good Life! I highly recommend them!

Our HOA worked with Arrow Asset Management for over 3 years, and while there were periods of…read moreresponsiveness and greatness, overall service consistency declined over the last year. During that year, I personally referred Arrow to multiple HOA presidents and spent several days handling referral calls on their behalf, which contributed to the company adding a number of new accounts. At the time, I raised concerns that growth without corresponding staffing and oversight could affect service levels. Janeth and Caden served as our primary manager during a period marked by frequent staff turnover and operational gaps. We experienced missed or lightly supported meetings, delayed follow-up on post-meeting action items, and slower responsiveness on time-sensitive issues. As turnover increased, continuity and accountability became ongoing challenges. Several maintenance and financial items took longer than expected to resolve, including common-area repairs and aspects of a loan process that carried meaningful impact for our homeowners. During this period, our account was supported by multiple assistant and full-time managers, which appeared to contribute to the lack of continuity. Based on our experience, associations considering Arrow-particularly those facing major projects or financing, may want to ask detailed questions about staffing stability, oversight, and communication expectations before proceeding. They are the best we have had compared to our last, but our board feels that they may be entering past management habits.

Located right off Nobel Drive in the UTC / La Jolla area, The Aventine Office Building consists of an eleven-story office tower, an adjacent six-story office building, and a three-level underground parking garage. I am currently a patient in a clinical research study there & I have to admit it is a nice building. I am not crazy about the parking garage that is confusing and hard to get your parking ticket validated for. There is very little public parking on the streets outside the Aventine Office Building. You take the parking garage elevator up to the Lobby and then have to switch to another elevator to get to the upper office buildings. Your first time there will have you thoroughly perplexed. A few parking spaces are reserved in the very front street level entrance to the building but most days they are quickly filled up. (Deducted 1 YELP STAR for problematic parking.) The Aventine Office Building is right next to the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Sporting Club at Aventine. It is certified LEED Existing Building Platinum and has an Energy Star rating of 100. So environmentally, this place is top notch. The views from most of the offices are awesome--even the ones that overlook the buzzing traffic of nearby Interstate 5, I have no doubt that the rents paid by tenants at this very fancy office building are through the roof. There are a variety of businesses here but most do seem to be high tech medical offices. Most of the office doors have lock contraptions on them that require a special code to unlock. There is also a lobby attendant on the ground floor who keeps an eye on things in the building. It does seem to be very secure and safe to be a tenant, client, visitor or deliveryman at the Aventine Office Building.

The property management does a great job having food trucks come in on Thursdays and with special events for tenants throughout the year. My only gripe is there used to be a gym next door that tenants would use which was great. Unfortunately, the gym has been shut down for awhile now and adding to the unfortunate story this amazing office building has no restrooms equipped with a shower. It's been this way for awhile now - more than a year. This includes a year of supposed talk that someone was going to purchase the still vacant old gym building. Amazing building but with multiple tenants you would think at least one or two restrooms would include a shower. Most office buildings do. Even most much older not recently renovated office buildings do. One or two showers would be great That's all. No showers make this a 3 star.

This company was hard to communicate on a good day and once things went sideways they were a nightmare to deal with. The "handyman" they used to perform repairs on my house was so bad once I terminated my service with San Diego Premier Property Management, I had to get a home inspection to determine everything that was wrong. From doing a lousy paint job, to using air piping on the garage water lines causing corrosion very quickly, to using PVC piping not rated for high pressure on the outlet of my pool pump there isn't much positive to say. I will say SDPPM is loyal to their handyman though, and stood behind him once I found out and showed them the facts. The most egregious issue was the replacing the water heater not to code, then after my home inspection I instructed them not to go back to the property to fix it, since I wouldn't know if the fix was correct or not and didn't want to have to get a 2nd inspection. SDPPM let the handyman back on site to "fix" what he did wrong anyways, only to not do it correctly a 2nd time. All of this was only discovered once I found the cell number of my tenants and reached out to them regarding some inconsistencies SDPPM was telling me, and then the whole thing started to come undone. All in all, there are lots of property management companies, and if you want to avoid a headache. Do not use San Diego Premier Property Management, and avoid Salvatore. Although this was quite a while ago that this affected me, based off the other reviews it seems like they are still doing the same thing.
