Where do I start? They took our old fence down and left all the wood panels on top of our grass nintendo our front yard in the middle of summer, for two weeks, killed the grass. Came back to put the new fence up, had one guy working, took his lunch and I'm notnsure he wasn't drunk when he came back to finish for the day, half the cuts on the top of the fence are ugly, misaligned. They hing the gate crooked, more than half the screws they putnin didn't even go through both boards, it doesn't close right. Then when they finally came and hauled off the old fence, they hit our mailbox with their trailer and broke it in half, and just drove off. 6 months later, our mailbox never got fixed, nor did they pay us to replace the $300 mailbox that our HOA requires. We signed the contract the first week of April 2023 and we were told they would start in four to six week. we got no update. They began the work July 11, 2023. The work was completed on 7/14. The metal tubing braces for all the gates were installed upside down. They ignored my concerns about that saying that they always did it that way. So, from that you know that years on the job doesn't mean you know what you're doing. I corrected all the gates myself two weeks later because the guest entrance gate was already sagging and binding. Even though the lady who takes their calls is very nice the communication with the men was very poor. Considering the cost of the job we are not completely satisfied. read more

There is a reason they are priced a little cheaper than others in town. If it's all about price maybe they are your company, but not for me. They were to start the job several different times that THEY scheduled. They no showed and didn't call each time. Numerous calls were not returned. I wasn't pleased w a section of fence, their explanation was it was my fault that I didn't clearly call out what I wanted, though the section of fence was still standing during bid process and they were to replace it. They started the fence 6 weeks after it was supposed to be done which was several months after they priced the job. My thoughts look elsewhere but don't say you were not warned. read more

We have been waiting since mid-March for our fence installation. We were originally told that they were 6 weeks out due to the storms our area had experienced, to which we agreed. Since then, they have failed to show up for the days they have subsequently given us (May 1, May 2, mid-May, June 13). They don't show up when they say they will and they don't call when they aren't going to show up. We will never use this company, again. read more

Received estimate 2d week of March 2023. Advised 4-6 weeks out. Received phone call scheduling install on May 2. No showed. Received voice mail with informing completion or start date in 2 weeks. No showed, no call. I've called now 3 more times with latest scheduled date another no show/no call. This company is unreliable and does not communicate. Too bad, too - my existing fence was installed by Jones 10 years ago, great service and reasonable price but that does not appear to be this company any more. read more

Paid deposit in March and was told it would be started in 5 weeks. After numerous phone calls and getting the run around it was started and finished at the end of July. It looks terrible and I have made several calls/texts to have it fixed. No one will call me back or come fix the fence that has already been paid for. Hinges are on the wrong side, caps aren't glued down, holes in posts, and parts that look like it was cut with a pocket knife. This has been an awful experience. Now I am left with a fence that I am probably going to have to hire another company to fix. Shame on me for paying before inspecting it. Don't use them - go elsewhere!! read more

I had a contract with Jones Fence to build a fence. They came out and installed the fence on March 29th 2019. I noticed 7-10 boards were not fully secured and some only secured by two nails at the top. I have called and been more than willing to give them time. However, i have been promised several times that the workers would be out the next day. The next day comes and you guessed it. No one showed up! I paid for a fence to keep my dogs secure not for a fence they can escape from this is unacceptable and I would not recommend Jones Fence to anyone. The customer service and lack of detail is astonishing and lacks a certain poise. I have been told several times that the "operations manager" would call or get back to me. This has NEVER happened. It's been three weeks do the work you were paid to do. This is ridiculous and I will be filing another complaint with the BBB. read more

Over two weeks ago I received a call that my fence would be installed eight days ago. No one showed up an no one called to tell me why. I've called their office several times and was told every time that someone would call me back, but no one ever did. That's no way to treat a customer. read more

We are buying a house that needs a privacy fence in the backyard. I called darn near every fence company in the Tennessee valley for a quote. 3/4 of the places never called me back. One treated me like I was stupid, one never showed up for the appointment. THEN, Jerry from Jones Fencing arrived on scene. He was ON TIME, very polite, walked the property with me, explained EVERYTHING in detail and gave a super fair price! WE ARE SO HAPPY to be doing business with them! Poor workmanship resulting in the fence seperating within 2 years. I made numerous calls to Jones Fence but they would not correct the shoddy work. 2 by 4's cut to short to connect to the post. Not an easy fix for a 64 year old disabled veteran. After paying $4,100 for the fence, I now have to pay to have it fixed. Got the money and gone. Good luck if you use these guys. read more
