First, I must say that I never went shoe shopping for myself in this shop. I did see plenty of shoes I liked when in there, but was always looking for shoes for my children.
The shoes they carried were a nice change from what you'd normally see, many (if not all, I can't say for sure) are Start Rite, which is a good, quality make. However, every time I found a pair I liked, they were always out of stock. I don't know about you, but when I'm shopping for shoes for my children, they usually need new shoes NOW, so can never be bothered to wait until they're back in stock.
Another thing I'd mention is how crowded the children's area of the shop is. I had to have a pram with me, and it was always a nightmare maneouvering it back there. I often got overlooked by the employees because I was trying to stand out of everyone's way, VERY frustrating, as children's patience with shopping can be incredibly limited. read more
