He wouldn't answer phone calls or emails and answer machine mailbox was always full. He would lock his door and not answer after I knocked for fifteen minutes and his car would be there. After months of this I called the Georgia State Bar and lodged a complaint. He called me the next day and said let me give you my cell # so I could be sure to reach him. After a few weeks of nothing I called and no answer and mailbox was always full, texted and no response. Finally I called Walton Probate Court and explained my situation and they told me I could file a civil suit to get my money and documents back. I emailed him and told him this was what I was going to do and guess what...I had an appointment with the Probate judge the next day. I had to pay the Walton Tribune to run the 30 day notice to debtors which should have come out of the $2000 but just didn't have another year to fight for it. I do not recommend him! Run!

He told us we needed to do am unnecessary probate on my mother that was already completed, also he did nothing. Never returned a phone call nothing. After 4 1/2 months of nothing My family decided to terminate services. Went to another lawyer locally within 2 1/ 2 weeks I was able to have my letters of testamentary done. I was also told no need to do probate on my mothers estate it was already complete. Lastly, I requested that my money for services rendered be returned for termination and the fact they did nothing. After 6 1/2 month he gave us only half back and did not send an invoice detailing anything he did. He also said it would just have to be ok. I would not hire him to represent my pet.

When I questioned things within the decree prior to finalizing she was quick to point out that I only paid for an "uncontested" divorce as if questioning and refusing to agree was unacceptable. I was naive and broke(chose her bc she was cheaper). I trusted her as she was the professional with a law degree. I had to basically argue with my own lawyer when a figure was incorrect on in the child support worksheet. Her response was not "let me look into it", but rather she was adamant it was correct, as if I don't know my own salary amount. I felt as if I was fighting MY lawyer, the ex and his lawyer. I would never seek counsel with her again. Nor would I ever recommend her services to anyone. A simple case of you get what you pay for.
