It was such a pleasure! In such a vulnerable time when you may not feel entirely like yourself; or how the world can be so loud with "bounce back" culture .... She made me see myself as strong, powerful, resilient! & also soft, beautiful & my children's safest place!!!! If you're ever looking for a doula, birth photographer, or like me a special breastfeeding session she is amazing! It was comfortable, she brought some beautiful energy to my home & in seeing these reminded me how truly remarkable women are ANYWAYS, TAKE ALL THE PICTURES, I promise you will treasure them one day. Forever thankful to people like Martha who use their beautiful work to remind us how cool moms are! 5 stars is not enough, you cannot go wrong with Martha

Gained so much awareness I actually used what Ifat taught to utilize the positions to make my labor successful. Now that I'm a mom I do mommy & me yoga with Ifat and Zumbini with Laura. I'm so elated I found this place. It's brought me so much peace and acceptance. Even when I was sick and could only sit on the floor during the class The teachers are so perceptive and supportive. They really cater to you physically and emotionally.

Chelsea went above and beyond in preparing us for the delivery date, staying with us after delivery to help us breastfeed and a follow-up visit with us to help us get acclimated and help us with additional breastfeeding support. Honestly, when my wife told me she wanted to hire a doula, I thought it was unnecessary, but I wanted her to be happy and have as good of a pregnancy / birth experience as possible. Looking back, I am so happy we made this decision to hire Chelsea. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience. She helped us come up with questions and plans we never would have thought of. And, when we had questions, she was always available to answer. I am so happy we made the decision to hire Chelsea for the birth of our first baby. Also, so great to have Chelsea there to take pictures on delivery day when my wife and I are focused on our new baby and not even thinking about taking pictures. I wouldnt have done anything differently. Chelsea is such an amazing doula and person and we are blessed to have met her and had her be a part of our journey.

She truly gives her heart to this work and is a living angel put on this earth for all the mamas! She never once left us feeling alone or unprepared through every step of this journey... pregnancy, labor & delivery, and postpartum. Any and all the questions, she's there to answer. She also never hesitated to give the hands on support that was needed, even throughout a 40 hr labor. She didn't just help empower me as mom, she also fully supported dad in this experience too! Most importantly, I didn't just meet and hire a doula - I made a lifelong friend.

Dawn was at the top of my list of doulas to meet. Her bio had everything I was looking for. I…read morereally enjoyed her energy and personality upon meeting her. For me, that's a deal breaker. I enjoyed being near her. My husband and I just knew she was the one! Take the time to meet her and if she is the one, you may just know it! She spoke very openly to us; very tell-it-how-it-is. She is exactly the strong woman energy I felt I needed near me during birth. I was new to the area and had little resources. She was able to point me in directions I never knew to ask. This is invaluable. She knows the area very well and has the experience as a doula that made me feel comfortable. We were planning a HBAC (home birth after cesarean). My 2 1/2 year old daughter would be there also. It was very important that we found the right person to be support for my husband and daughter also. She was the one. My daughter grew very fond of her leading up to birth. She looked forward to our visits. I could be at ease with my daughter's position during birth with her support. Dawna helped us make our plan possible. Leading up to birth, Dawna was a constant resource. I looked forward to our visits and felt like she was my personal cheerleader. I really needed that! She knew I could do it all along. This was my second birth, and unlike my first one, I felt like everything flowed with all my plans and wishes respected. Everyone there was valuable. Dawna just did exactly what needed to be done while I was in "labor land". She gave me the encouragement I needed and took a load off my husbands shoulders. She brought me drinks with a straw without being asked. She was like an amazing birth angel. Her energy is very calm, strong/confident, go with the flow, and on point! I'm obviously very happy and would hire her again. Right after birth, she made sure I was comfortable and fed. My 2 year old couldn't wait to see her again. We all looked forward to her postpartum visit. There's a reason why she is so experienced and adored by her clients.

Specially as we navigated first time parenthood. We just had our second baby (natural delivery) and we're lucky to have Dawna again as part of our birth team, including her doula services. I can only describe her as the whole package: unique, invaluable, knowledgeable, dedicated, intuitive, resourceful, multifaceted, gifted, flexible, encouraging, fun and all around indispensable. My husband describes her as "heavy artillery" as in "call in the very best!" Though I have the greatest husband and my phenomenal sister was supporting us, all of us agree the experience would have been significantly different without Dawna. She truly has a calling which we were lucky to experience in both types of birth settings.

After months of being seen by them (Since July 2023) I was not made aware by anyone that my insurance had a limit for sonograms during my pregnancy. The day of my follow up appointment, I was contacted by the receptionist and was told that I would have to pay out of pocket to be seen. Unfortunately, at this point I'm 7.5 months pregnant and am not working, therefore paying out of pocket was not an option for me. I contacted my health insurance and they told me that if the doctors office sent over an authorization, that they could cover the remaining sonogram costs. I communicated this to Signature and have basically been playing the middle man to get the authorization approved for 2 weeks. Originally, I was told by signature that they have had past issues with other patients in which Medicaid did not end up paying for the sonograms. I am an adult and I understand that they must get paid for their time and labor somehow, as I do not expect anything to be free... my main issue is that I could already tell that they would make it difficult for the authorization process to work with my insurance. I immediately felt a lack of care as a patient upon being told about the past issues with Medicaid patients. It has been over a month that I have received a sonogram or have been attended by signature, and while playing middle man with my insurance and their office to try to speed things up, I ask for them to do a "peer to peer" phone call with my insurance which is where the doctor verbally explains the situation to a nurse as to why the authorization is necessary for my high risk pregnancy so that it can be approved quicker. As this process can be a bit daunting and time consuming, Signature has been slowly giving up on me as a high risk patient and have finally advised me that they will no longer attempt to deal with my insurance or try to finalize the authorization process. Signature called me today and provided me with 2 other doctors office phone numbers for me to seek treatment elsewhere, instead of signature trying to help me figure out the insurance issue in order for me to continue being seen by them up until I'm 38 weeks pregnant (AGAIN, I am 31 weeks pregnant currently) I am literally 7 weeks away from giving birth to my twins, and Signature has just decided to no longer deal with me due to insurance issues and lacking communication with the insurance. As a mother, I would love to just pay out of pocket for my remaining sonograms, but the lack of empathy and understanding from this office has left me: 1. Worried for me and my babies health. 2. Frustrated at the fact that I'm 31 weeks and have to start from ground zero to find high risk care for my babies and self. 3. Saddened to not be able to confirm the health of my babies at this point in my pregnancy. 4. Feeling discarded as a mother/human by a provider who lacked attention for their patient of over 3 months. I understand that it is not the easiest type of situation to deal with when it comes to finances, but as a doctors office whom "values" their patients, I would've expected a little more enthusiasm on trying to work together as a team with the patient to figure out the insurance issue instead of just giving up on me and sending me elsewhere. I'm just truly disappointed in the outcome of my experience at Signature perinatal with Dr. Sasha Davidson. I truly thought that she would be more understanding and would have a little more patience and tolerance with a high risk pregnancy patient. I am extremely dissatisfied with their service. I am not even the type to leave reviews but at this point I feel as if they are playing with my babies lives and I just feel utterly downright disrespected. To those with Medicaid, I would advise to confirm your sonogram limit, if any, prior to being seen here. I would also try to seek out a doctors office who actually cares about health more than money... ‍
