This is off because most of the websites recommending this cafe said they do take away. In any case since we couldn't get a table and they wouldn't let us get take away we left. Very disappointing experience. As an aside, while I'm sure the pastries and coffee on offer are fine, there any plenty of cafes closer to the main square. I don't know that I'd recommend making the trek to this cafe; especially if you are in a hurry or want take away.

Lady's a table over had breakfast and it looked really nice, different breads, jams butter... It is vey open and airy, and the staff is warm and inviting. The bar lined with pastries and the back half covered in bounties of fresh bread made me very excited for the food we were going to try. Everyone in my party got the same thing: Hüttengaudi. It was the best thing I have ever eaten. I wish we had more time in Stuttgart simply so I could have it again. Overall, I had a wonderful experience here and would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to or through Stuttgart.
