The designers there really know their stuff and have helped me several times - I just describe what I think I need, and they bring it to life. Some floral (that my daughter-in-law kept touching to see if it was real), a wall hanging, cute lamps, some candles. They really know how to tie it all together. I have to go back every season because they constantly have new things that I don't see anywhere else. I took these pictures at Christmas because I was blown away.

Cute shop but I was disappointed by the high prices and lack of inventory. It was just the same items spread all over the shop. Also saw the same lamp in different parts of the booth at the show with two different prices one $29 and the other $59.

Not only that, when a burgundy flower was ordered, and it was unfortunately unable to be grown at this time of year, instead of calling and asking what else could be brought instead of this flower, she brought bright red roses. Literally no roses at this wedding, so they stuck out like a sore thumb. Thankfully, the cake decorator had brought decorations and was able to fix that mistake and a parent of the bridal party was able to go to the store for the missing item on the order. The kitchen has been a pleasure to cook in and was featured in a NY newspaper article on renovations. More recently she helped with the selection of new furniture including a custom couch and reading chair that harmonize with existing pieces. I love sitting in that chair! She has a great eye for design and color and pays attention to the details as well as the big picture. I know I can count on her and look forward to working with her again!

This was a massive undertaking and Barbara helped me through every single step of the way. From the start, I gave her my vision and she was able to translate that to the actual concept that is now a beautiful, well though out space. I consistently get comments about how nicely my space flows and how comforting it is. This is all because Barbara so thoughtfully planned every single detail of the project and literally considered every possible angle. She also was beyond helpful with coordination of the contractors and suppliers at a time when I had no extra time to do this myself. I still am in awe of my office and wellness center. I am so grateful for Barbara and wholeheartedly continue to recommend her every chance I get.

What a gem this store is. It's run by a husband and wife, and they are friendly, helpful,…read moreknowledgeable, and incredibly kind. I wish other small business owners in New Castle had their understanding of the importance of merchandising...the store is well laid out, and attractive. Their items are lovely--unlike some of the local junk stores that call themselves 'antique' stores. I frequently pop in because they get new things in regularly. I learned a lesson about this place: If you see something you like, get it. I waited a couple days before making a decision and the item I wanted was sold when I went back. When my folks moved here from out of town, I was able to furnish their entire apartment with beautiful *real* furniture from North Hill Antiques. Their prices are generally reasonable; some are out of my budget-zone...but, they seem to know the value of the pieces. And, they will deliver if you are nearby.
