See the loss/wins it shows that she is NOT capable of coaching and creating a winning team. She was hired in enough time to "recruit" and the 2 she recruited for this 2025 season are horrible- one being her little sister. She gives her multiple chances on mistakes along with the 300lb girl. I can only think that a HUGE donation was made for this FRESH to see the court and play soooo many times over upper class man. Her judgement is way off and coaching ability is middle school age. This conference is too strong for someone like this and putting the 300lb girl on the court is telling she doesn't know athleticism and how to win. Her new recruits are in the 300lbs range... I only see this team dropping to NAIA soon.

I also felt like they prepared me for the future with my next goals. The staff are also very helpful to include dealing with Financial Aid and VA benefits. If they had a graduate program that I was interested in, I would have chosen this school again. The class sizes are small so you get the personalized attention that students like me prefer, because you're not just a number. The campus is also small, but it's beautiful! Thank you Saint Leo Staff, Faculty and community!! I attended at the main Saint Leo/Tampa/MacDill, FL campuses.

I've been thinking a lot about if I should write a review on this school or not. After thinking…read moreabout it, I feel the upcoming students have the right to know my experience was in the Medical Assisting Program in 2022 starting from February through November. I was a student coming from out of state wanting to enroll into an amazing school. Everyone was very kind and considerate and pushed for excellence for the students. I then started to notice that students through the school were acting like "high school college students". Teachers were late to class, having staff meetings an hour into class (but heard them laughing), missing so many lab materials we needed, dress code wasn't being held to standards. I had teachers in tank tops dresses and flip flops which is totally unprofessional in the medical field. I was thinking how you can hold us to a standard if you cannot show yourself. When we got the learning about vital signs and materials, we spent 1-2 days on vitals and never again which isn't enough for time for us to master. The lab didn't have some materials to have a layout for a tray set-up in a medical setting and lancets for checking blood sugars. I was getting very frustrated, but I didn't want to waste my money I spent, so I changed from night classes to morning, hoping that things would change. Prior to that change, a student got upset because there was a miscommunication in some words exchanged and she pulled me outside of the building and started intimidating me and raising her voice. The teachers and staff members did nothing to have me feel safe when that situation happened and the entire class ganged up on me, forcing me to switch to day classes. During the day classes, the school placed a teacher into a classroom where she didn't have the best knowledge for that subject (not her fault) and expected her to teach us when she didnt know how which was also frustrating. A few weeks later, I noticed the smell of marijuana in the building and in back parking lot. When I parked my car one day, I looked over my door and noticed by accident a HUGE bag of marijuana inside an SUV with a lot of cash. I told the school that I had seen a student from another program selling marijuana outside of building and inside by break area. Again, nothing was done, and the student continued. The staff smoke with the students and seems like the professionalism there is lacking alot. Also, I came at night one night and I saw a male student having a barber shop in one of the medical classrooms and I was mortified because this is a medical classroom, and why aren't teachers reprimanding these students for code of conduct. I did appreciate some staff there but lastly around September at least 8 staff members resigned, quit, or disappeared. I asked several times what's going on, and the school said, different opportunities. I truly didn't believe them, because I knew something was happening, we didn't know about and that's why a domino effect of people left. Also, some staff I was close to told me they choose to leave because of the school issues. Overall, I personally think this college is a joke which allows students to do whatever they want. I felt like I was back in high school again with so much drama. My anxiety was always high, leaving classes or not coming, and crying due to being picked on from students. I ended up paying for the entire program which I didn't finish because of the stress of the school, and personal reasons. Now I'm back in my home state in west coast in which I'm having to retake the medical assistant program all over again with a legitimist school. I've been at my new school for 2 months now (paying for it again), and I've learned more in those short months than the entire program at Centura College. My suggestion is to not attend this school and look into a college that takes things seriously and holds you accountable for your actions and learning. Again, I dislike writing bad reviews, but students need to know what's really going on instead of what there being told by the school. If the school sees this, I hope you can make changes for the best.

Football season is here!…read more I did not formally attend the University to further my education however I love the fact that you can go to sporting events that are within my hometown for example this past football season my husband and I attended a few football games at the NSU ... We were super excited for the new coach Michael Vick! We went to the first game and it was a fairly decent turnout however, the crowds were late entering the field...a lot of confusion going on nevertheless the stadium is beautiful plenty of vendors there if you're not just interested in the game. The parking can be an issue however they did offer parking at the MacArthur mall and we were able to take a shuttle over which was pretty easy and that was free of charge or we had access to take the light rail in Norfolk as well and get let off within a mile or two of the stadium which was free of charge as well. Nevertheless it's a good time if you're into sporting events this is basketball season right now not sure how the teams are doing but it's worth a visit if you're in the area to check out the teams at a collegiate level. Have fun and enjoy life :)

We arrived around 7:45am and my kiddo's move-in time was scheduled for 8:00-9:00am. She jumped out the car, checked in at the registration desk, was provided her key and then they gave us directions to proceed to her dorm room. The staff directed us in our cars to park right outside her dorm room to unload. We drove on the large sidewalk and parked in the grass 10 ft from her dorm. Pure awesomeness!! I had my good walking shoes on (AKA, my Timberland slippers) because I was prepared to take multiple trips from the car from some garage but NOPE, not needed. They took our information and phone numbers and wrote it on a hang tag for our cars (yep, we drove two SUVs for all my daughter's stuff!). We were told to quickly unload and then move our cars to the garage nearby so the next group could come through. They gave us these large cardboard boxes on wheels. We used 4 of them and everything in the car was emptied. It literally took us 10 mins to unload. The longest wait was for the elevator, since my daughter's room is on the 4th floor. All in all, I commend the ODU staff for having move-in day so well orchestrated and organized. I'm sure they have perfected this over the years, but as a new parent to the school, I was elated with the efficiency. The staff and kids who rushed to help us were helpful, super kind and great to work with. They even gave us "Proud Parents" shirts in which we wore proudly. If move-in day is any indication of what's to come, I know she will have a terrific year at ODU.

They stick to the script that he has to pay for a new id and bus pass. My son had to walk home from his first day of class because he couldn't get a bus pass. I called the customer service number all day and guess who answered the phone with a live human the Chesapeake office. To sum it up Norfolk is getting worse from the horrible customer service in stores, to the public schools and now this. But it makes sense I should never expect anything positive from Norfolk at all. There is one gate with a manned checkpoint on the gated campus. I indicated where I was going & the friendly gate keeper gave me exact directions. What I had thought was a small university was actually much bigger, thanks in major part to donations & efforts of philanthropist Jane Batten. My visit was to the Batten Student Center, which was bustling with activity in the evening hours that I was there. It was a beautiful, well equipped place where students could gather, participate in indoor sports & have 2nd story meeting room spaces, The private college has grown in prestige & enrollment in recent years, thanks to the efforts of Jane Batten. In 2026 a major change will come, which is welcomed & applauded by all. In addition to the move of the Virginia Museum for Contemporary Arts to the VWU University campus, the name of the universally will be changed to Batten University. The campus is located on Wesleyan Drive very near the I-64 exit for Northampton Boulevard. A turn to the south on Wesleyan Drive will take one past the entrance gate and main campus. Congratulations to the university on its well deserved increased pathway to the future.
