He was able to identify a major underlying aspect of my sleep issues and has helped to move in a positive direction with my healing. Darko, one of the massage therapists, is great too. You get 30 min massages included with your treatment and Darko does it right! I have tried many massage therapists at some of these massage places around town, and they have all been sub par. Amanda is super nice and friendly, and so is Stephanie. They do get busy at times, but all that means is that they are good and have people flocking in. They have a big ol' basket of free fruit and some flavored water, oh and a huge massage chair you can use while you wait. Give them a go, you'll be glad :)

He listens to all my concerns and never makes me feel rushed. He uses a combined approach of Eastern and Western medicine which I find incredibly effective. He's as likely to recommend treating a condition with acupuncture as he is recommending a drug. He's a wonderful doctor and I am grateful to have him. I've never met another doctor like him.

I actually started at this location a LONG time ago (and about 3 doctors ago within this practice). My original doctor is still here (I think) but I changed when my office ended up right next to the Polaris location. I initially got connected to the practice through a referral to a doctor who had expertise in 2 areas I needed help with. The fact that it was sports medicine was just an added bonus. I appreciate their long hours and variety of doctors. They are also connected to PT which I've had to use upon occasion. My current doctor is younger than me - a female, not by requirement but she was available when the prior doctor (whom I didn't really like) left the practice. I had only seen him twice and I landed with him when I changed locations. I had to see my doctor this time as I needed a script renewed. I had the 7 AM appointment and was called back barely after sitting down after checking in. My stats were taken by the assistant and again - soon after she left the room the doctor appeared. NO WAITING! This is a MAJOR pain point for me as I'm a lawyer and my time is valuable. I've had some experiences recently at another doctor (specialist) where I had to get up and leave before even getting called back from the waiting room as I just couldn't waste any more of my time waiting. The frosting on the cake was that the office manager was SURPRISED when I left. Anyways, I have not encountered ANYTHING like this at Sports Max. They respect me and my time. My office moved downtown and I have stayed with the Polaris office. I would like to have a doctor near my home (Gahanna), but OhioHealth doesn't seem to have anything there - and Sports Max definitely does not. As a result, I'll stay with SportsMax and the inconvenient drive up as long as they keep their scheduling accurate and get me in and out quickly!

He's a very good chiropractor but unfortunately his staff is extremely rude. It was a billing issue that we were dealing with. I'd like to mention that we have always paid on time and in full. And again we are long-term patients of at least a couple of years. The office staff had made an error and put us through quite a few obstacles to prove to them that we had paid. They would not take the time to look at their own bank account to see if the money had been deposited. We were treated Disrespectfully, and as if we were trash. I put a review on there personal page through Google, and their response only addressed the fact of why the billing had been confused. That wasn't my issue. My issue was how we were treated. The part of the response to my complaint the comment was made that they would not tolerate anyone being rude to their staff. This did not happen, and I resent the fact that they even implied such a thing. This adds insult to injury. I do not suggest dealing with this company at all, not because of the Chiropractor himself, but because of his office staff. We were able to fit an x-ray, electric stimulation, and he was able to adjust my neck and hip in the entire appointment. If you're going to a chiropractor, I definitely suggest that you visit often in order to see progression.

This is a review that was a long time coming, but in a good way, becasue my recovery was a process…read morethat took nearly a year, and Upper Arlington Family Chiropractic was an instrumental part of my healing process. In early March I suffered a significant sinus infection that migrated to my ears, and, unfortunately, developed a slight tinnitus in my right ear due to the damage of swelling. My primary caregivers and ENT specialists were frankly baffled as nothing intrinsically was wrong, and a later MRI bore that out: whatever did the damage left no tangible trace other than the ringing, and a slight misalignment/wearing of my TMJ. When you fall between the cracks of primary care and specialized medicine's ability to readily heal you, you find yourself bereft of options and of hope. It sucks the life out of you. Nothing that once gave you joy does so any longer. It's a vicious spiral of despair. Especially when no one understands your pain or difficulty. After months and thousands of dollars of 2nd opinions and alternative medicine options, I called UA Family Chiro and they fit me into their schedule. Dr. Schram and his team treated my issue with seriousness and respect, and Dr. Schram's holistic and complete approach to treating not just the issue at hand but the individual experiencing it is a hallmark of how they treat their patients. It was a long process to get to where I am now. I may never fully be back to where I was due to the esoteric nature of how I was injured. But the treatment I received at Upper Arlington Family Chiropractic helped me find myself again. I felt better. Gradually. Especially with shared effort on my part using their guidance and advice. I'm still recovering, but I now I have the ability to meet the challenges I face with confidence and a renewed vigor of the person I was before the issues began.
