I always look forward to seeing what new and unique plants will be on display. There's something different and interesting to discover each time, which makes browsing so much fun. My favorite thing about this seller, though, is the attention to detail. Each plant has a label on the pot with a QR code that you can scan to learn exactly how to care for your new plant. As someone who loves plants but doesn't always know the specific needs of every variety, I think this is such a clever and helpful idea! The plants are unique, the setup is inviting, and you can tell there's genuine care and passion behind what she does. We got ourselves some sweet blackberries to take home. Out on the farm, we had the best tractor ride and learned some fun facts about fruits, as well as slid on the huge slide and played some outdoor games. While we were here, we ate some oakie pies. My favorite is thanksgiving dinner. It tastes just like November-- Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and gravy. They have other tasty savory pies like the chicken pot pie, blueberry pulled pork, and the breakfast pie. Of course, you could get some sweet ones too! The service is very friendly and the farm truly has fun for everyone! I can't wait to come back for stone fruit season.

We got there right at 10am when they said they were supposed to open. The gates were locked. We finally waited in the little patio area (thanks to a thoughtful employee who saw us standing outside.) Employees arrived to open the doors about 10 minutes later. We were disappointed with the poor and meager selection and the prices were too high. I did end up getting some local honey and chicken and 1 peach. I haven't tried any of it yet. I don't think we'll go back. Maybe it gets better as the day goes on when they get more produce in?

The weather has been perfect the last few times it was open and I loved strolling through the vendors and really learning about what they were offering. The vendors are are really great people and the live music is the perfect touch! Being located near home is even better (west side of town). I hope it gets more visitors to keep it going because it's so fun to have them over here. They did a fun Halloween event with candy and costume contests. It's a bit more involved than the other markets, even if it isn't the biggest one. It's like a little family. :) I definitely recommend a visit. Grab a coffee or a Kona ice and take a stroll while enjoying the current weather. *This market is located in the parking lot next to Sequoia's and Asada Grill off of Buena Vista on the last Wednesday of every month.

On the Thursday evenings that I am in town, I make it a point to peruse each and every merchant, which by the way consists of more than just 3 tents. I have purchased my fruits and veggies, natural dog treats, hand made craft items, local bee honey and even brought home a hot dinner for us to enjoy. Oh ya, and don't forget to tip the wonderful guitarist/vocalist who keeps us entertained. Overall this most certainly is in no way a Kaiser Sunday market and not even close to the Brimhall Saturday market, but it does have what I need to keep me going throughout the week.
