I have icicles hanging from the gutter work over the front porch and then drip on the steps going off my front porch as the weather warms and then freeze over night and it is a sheet of ice on those steps. Come spring, I complained and they came back and looked and said they would come back. After a couple of months with no one coming back, I wrote the owner a letter expressing how disappointing dealing with them has been. They came back, made some adjustments and it improved that water wasn't overflowing from the gutters as much but obviously not completely otherwise I would not have icicles forming. For the amount my ins. company paid them 25,000, I feel they hired workers for a cheap job and pocketed the rest. Maybe if you work with the owner you would get a better job, but who knows why take a chance . There has to be better contractors out there, they couldn't be worse.. I come in and out my garage and you have to be in the dining room to notice the icicles and last winter I noticed they were worse than former winters. Today, in another area I was trying to put the downspout at the bottom back on and can't but why does it fall off from time to time and what happened to it now that I can't get it back on. I have lived in this house since 1998 and never had this trouble with the downspouts and in fact they were better gutters because the bottom was on hinges and as the guys cut my grass they could lift the downspout up out of the way. These are not on hinges. Just wanted my house back the way it was before the storm. My mistake - big mistake in who I selected. Never had used my insurance nor never had home damage before in the 30 years I;ve been with Am Family Ins. This has been a learning experience. Beware and careful who you hire.

He explained the whole process and thoroughly answered all of our questions. We had gotten several other quotes. We chose Home Pride because of Nick's knowledge of roofing and his approachability. He didn't make me feel stupid for asking all kinds of questions. As for the roofers, they were amazing. They showed up first thing in the morning. They had to remove a couple layers of shingles and replace a bunch of decking. And they were still completely finished in one day. Amazing! They made sure everything was nicely cleaned up. The gutters were completed on a different day. Once again the people showed up first thing in the morning and were completed before dinner time. I wholeheartedly recommend Home Pride!! We will be using them in the future for replacement windows. Be sure to ask for Nick, he won't steer you wrong!

I read in consumer reports that the expensive gutter guards to fail in heavy rains and the less expensive ones do not. The owner confirmed the consumer report info, and was very straight forward with the product and price to install the gutters. They came out about two weeks later and I couldn't be happier. They did a thorough job at a fair price, and made the few tweaks I asked for perfectly. The owner was on-site the entire time. They were able to remove and replace my gutters, and install the guards in one day. Bonus, the owners family stopped by at lunch, we got to see them all parade up to Dad.

We have an asbestos roof original to the house built in 1939 that desperately needed to be replaced. We also had significant water damage to our entryway and stairway leading upstairs. Our insurance adjuster came out to inspect and gave us $7,000 (a ridiculous amount) to replace the roof and fix the interior. The insurance company cut a check; closed the claim and stopped returning our calls. We checked Yelp reviews, called AGR and Zach came out. He looked at everything, took pictures of the roof with a drone and said our insurance company was definitely low-balling us. He got our homeowners policy information and assured us our insurance company will pay for it. AND THEY DID. We did not have to do anything. Eight days later, our insurance company cut us another check and payed a total of $30,313. We had the entire roof replaced, interior fixed AND new gutters. Zach was in constant contact with us. He was very hands-on and always checked the completed work. SERIOUSLY, use this company for all of your roofing and construction needs. Excellent work!!

Unfortunately, my experience with the company itself was much more frustrating. I was very upset to discover that a commencement notice had been placed against my home before we had even discussed or finalized pricing. Each time I brought up my concerns, Alex repeatedly told me, "Don't worry about it." Then, over a holiday weekend, I received the notice from Izabella Brown. When I questioned why this had happened, I was told by Alex that it was "company policy." I found the way this was handled very concerning and felt that I should have been informed and given a clear explanation before anything was filed against my property. There was also an issue with someone coming to my property to pick up materials without anyone informing me beforehand. He pulled into my driveway squealing his tires and then did the same while backing out, running over the small end of my retaining wall and leaving marks on my driveway. This was extremely disappointing and could have been avoided with better communication and care for the homeowner's property. So while I am very pleased with the work performed by the subcontractors, my overall experience with the company was negatively affected by the lack of communication and the way certain things were handled. I would strongly recommend making sure all pricing, notices, and property-related procedures are clearly explained to the homeowner before work begins.

They replaced our 17 windows with double pane energy efficient ones, and put on all new siding, and man, they really did a fantastic job. Ryne, the owner was one of the nicest contractors I've ever worked with. He listens to what you want and discusses all of the details with you to ensure that everything is fully understood. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was, in fact, done right. His employees were all helpful, knowledgeable, and entirely pleasant to work with as well. They are good at what they do. These guys made our house look like a whole new house while keeping with it's original character. It's so much less drafty and far more energy efficient now.
