Dr. Johnson has performed 3 surgeries on may face in 9 yrs. The first being with the assistance of an excellent MOHS surgeon Dr Heidi Donnely. Two of the surgeries were of of massive proportions. The removal of a cancer tumor golf ball sized. 100% successful . Next a corrective surgery to raise my facial structure. And latest to keep my cheek from sagging.The result so far is amazingly exceptional. Minimal scarring and extremly pleasing. I has fat pad removal done by this so called Dr. He did come highly recommended to me by a fellow Doctor. He explained the procedure to me. Fine. But what happened next was and total nightmare. He did not cut behind the bottom lid. OH no he can't do that. Dr. Johnson called me to say he was putting so much thought in to what he would. My 1st warning things were to go so wrong. I arrived for surgery Jan. 2 2000 gave me medication to help put me under. I do remember that after a few minutes someone come in and had me sign another piece of paperwork. When I woke is when the nightmare began. Michael Johnson did not do the procedure as he had described it.. NO the cut the outsides corners of my eyes. From the outside corners to about 2" down my face. He cut all my eye muscles, closed up my outside skin to make it turn inside so my eyes would be smaller. He though my eyes were to large, something people use to compliment me on, my eyes were taped up which he keep saying keep on everything will be ok. Well it wasn't.my lower eye lids hung. Not a little a lot. My eyes wouldn't close all the way, my eye lids hung open. I looked like a monster. 2 months later he tried to fix it. I was awake, I was not draped in a sheet or a gown. He put a little price of paper on me like you were at the dentist. He didn't sit me up to mark me. I had my street clothes on, even my shoes. I asked him to mark me sitting up. Durning the procedure he talked to his assistant about hard it was to get to my other eye. I said "just turn me so my other side is on your good side because I'm not sterile anyways. That procedure didn't work either. After that he wouldn't see me, my pre-surgery pictures weren't in his office they were at his home. I never did get them. Once something goes wrong no other Dr. will see you. I tried everyone. My sister lives in Plano, Tx. She found a Dr. that would try to help. I had pictures taken and sent them to him. He though he could help which he did by drilling 2 holes into each side of the upper corner of my eyes. He then anchored them my bottom lids. He sewed my eye s shut so I wouldn't scare down. That was my 3rd operation. I had 8 more procedures each one worse than the last. I've had my eyes sewn shut more times then I can count. Spacers to help stretch the skin. A total of 7 more surgeries each one not working. Until I found Dr. Kulwin at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. He did a skin graft to give my lower lid. Which allowed my lower eye to no longer hang open. So 11 surgeries later with everyone from Eye Doctors, plastic surgeons, and one that said I can fix this. Please never go to this Doctor.
