This time, I hired A&J to remove four dead trees from my property and also to grind three huge stumps on my property. And as with the last time they did work on my property, the combination of great equipment and the great people that they have, resulted in awesome work. This was also the first time that I used A&J do stump grinding on my property. In this, I was incredibly impressed with the machine that they have to do this work. It did an amazing job and completely eliminated all of the tree stumps, one being over 40 inches in width! As for the dead trees that were removed, three of them were covered from top to bottom with significant amounts of ivy and all four of the trees stood right on the property line of my yard. Two of the trees were even leaning over and into a neighboring property. With each tree, the team from A&J removed them with skill and talent and caused no issues with the yards of my neighbors. And after all four trees were taken down, they were all loaded up and hauled off the property. Along with this, they also raked and cleaned up all of the little debris from the work. The yard was spotless and clean when they finished the job. I truly cannot say enough good things about A&J. My neighbors felt the same, as they complimented the work in the days that followed. I'm so glad I found these guys and would use nobody else. Thanks again A&J!

I called the number given and left a voice mail. I was called later that same day and spoke with Mr. Thomas and arranged to meet him at our residence the next day (Monday) so he could see the intended work area and provide a bid for the work. We met at the intended time and discussed the project. Mr. Thomas provided a written quote that evening and began work Tuesday morniing. The price was MORE than FAIR. His job site was maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Mr. Thomas prepped the area, removing excess soil and grass, made sure the site was level and built forms. On Wednesday he spread stone and drilled/pinned a stretch of sidewalk adjacent the work site to mitigate the slab from moving as it aged. He placed rebar strategically to ensure the concrete would support the weight of a hot tub when it was full and functioning. Concrete was delivered Thursday wtihout incident, after it set a while Mr. Thomas stamped and died the concrete to look like a continuous slab slate (it looked amazing). On Friday, Mr Thomas and his assistant returned to the jobsite to disassemble the forms, clean the jobsite (including our Trex pool deck) and seal the concrete. Bottom line is simply, our work was performed in a professional workmanlike manner. Mr. Thomas and his assistant were friendly, courteous and above all, focused on pleasing their customer. Rest assured I would highly recommend Mr. THomas for any form of concrete work that is needed. For what it's worth, he'll be returning to our home later this Summer (or early Fall) to repair shoddy work that was performed by another contractor several years ago. Yes, Mr. Thomas is THAT GOOD. If anyone reading this as they contemplate using Mr. Thomas, please feel free to reach out to me. I'll be happy to discuss any concern that exists.
