This brother, supposedly a trained technician asked me several questions, did absolutely nothing, and charged me two hundred forty nine dollars. It seemed to me that he had very little knowledge. I called another company. This technician was extremely professional and thorough, went over the whole system, diagnosed the actual problem, and fixed the problem within an hour. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!! Called Johnson Bros to fix clog in drain and was told the appointment would be between 10am-12pm. Technician didn't show up until 3pm and was extremely rude when I mentioned they were late. The technician proceeded to unclog the drain in the basement and while he was working all I could hear was him screaming at his co worker/brother. Inappropriate conversations, this company is truly a mess. After an hour was told nothing he could do and would need to remove a house trap. Wanted 3 grand for the job and told him to leave. I had reached out to other companies, but most of them required a visit for them to look at it before providing an estimate, which seemed unnecessary since it was a straightforward job - cut off the old valve and install a new one, no other problems to diagnose. Super happy with my project! I hired Nate to replace my boiler and water heater with a high efficient boiler tankless water heater combo after getting quotes from several companies. Nate was fast to respond. The price was fair and he helped me understand the project and ongoing maintenance. Like any project, there were snags, a part on the boiler didn't work, the code changed on tubing and it was out of stock, Nate stayed on top of it and got it all done. My elderly parents were having issues with their second floor toilet, shut off valve and supply line. My brother got the ball started by contacting Johnson Bros and received a general quote and appointment fairly quickly. Jahz arrived on time, was professional and responsive to questions. Initially, Jahz attempted to tighten a part to stop the water drip that was happening by the shut off valve but it didn't hold. Over 2 appointments, we had the new toilet installed, shut off valve replaced and supply line through the floor replaced. BEWARE..I originally gave a 5 star rating & that was a big mistake..I had the guts changed in two toilets & was asked when he was leaving to give a review so I gave a 5 star not knowing both toilets were leaking. When I noticed I called & nobody answered I texted & nobody answered. I had to put a cup under each toilets shut off overnight, in the morning I called @ 8:15am he said he would be right over to tighten them before his first appt. I waited till noon and called no answer I texted he never got back to me." BEWARE" Once he took my money ($329.00)he would not respond to me. Gave a 1 star only because there isn't a zero star. I had a leak in the rubber connector that joins the dishwasher drain hose to the garbage disposal in my kitchen and as the garbage disposal was pretty old (installed 1998) decided to have it replaced at the same time. The old garbage disposal was an Insinkerator so I bought a new Insinkerator from Amazon and called Johnson Brothers on Friday about installing it. They said they could do it and be there on Monday between 2 and 4 pm. I foolishly didn't ask the cost. The technician arrived between 2:05 and 2:10 pm and I gave him the new Insinkerator along with the new rubber connector. The work space was cleared, cabinet doors removed etc. before he arrived so he could get straight to work on the install. The job was done in 45 minutes during which there was no questions or suggestions raised. So far so good but here's what didn't sit so well with me. First, the cost was $360 which seemed steep for a 45 minute job. Secondly, the original sink drain insert and Insinkerator patented mounting mechanism from the old Insinkerator installed in 1998 was left in place and reused, not replaced with the new one (as I'd expected). The new Insinkerator was attached to the old mechanism -- a mechanism plumber puttied in place back in 1998 when the old Insinkerator was installed. I assumed and would have preferred the whole new mechanism to be installed with new fresh plumbers putty but the tech didn't consult me about it. Third, after the tech left I took a look at the old L shaped drain outlet piece that feeds from the Insinkerator to the drainage pipe and it was pretty grungy with partial blockage. This made me wonder whether the drainage pipes might have the same blockage build up and if so whether the tech thought about cleaning this out. He didn't mention anything. Lastly, Insinkerator paperwork requires use of a specific type of of electric connection cable for new installs. This wasn't done. The tech reused the old unit's cable. It works but it's not right and voids the Insinkerator warranty. I ordered the correct cable from Amazon which I'll install myself. I sent an e mail Monday evening to Johnson Brothers with my concerns and have yet to get a reply from them. read more

Called plumber to address clogged drain at tenant home. Agent who received call was responsive. Scheduling was automated and clear using text messaging system. Plumber repaired drain to satisfaction of tenant with bill that stated what was repaired. Flat rate seemed fair around mid 200s/hr. No complaints, would use again. EDIT 4/19/23: While service is fine, scheduling with the company is inefficient. For the 3 times I've reached out to them, only 1 out of 3 jobs was scheduled (the one mentioned above). You send a text and wait back for them to confirm. I did not hear back and would send them a text; they said they get back to me. Never did. If you are able to get a hold of them, great! If not, do not wait and find another equally capable plumber. read more

Will Continue with the update of this review until the job is done and reasonably done. ------- They reached out very quickly and were able to see me basically next day. Told them pipe under sink broke and the water won't drained, needed to install Reverse osmosis system under sink (already owned the system) and new water line for fridge (already owned the kit), was quote from like $900-$1,000 (was about average from places that got a hold of me). The company had the tech there for about 3 hours. They installed the water line for fridge (fridge runs smoothly). They installed the reverse osmosis (sadly it leaks and got a bucket under near the sink) not to mention have to turn of cold water if not the double sink fills completely up within 20-30min (still leaks underneath sink on or off. Cleaning the puddle of water it makes, trying to catch with bucket). Without cold water being on some how the sink still fills up (within about now 10-12 hours..more or so now 12 hours since it seems like its less now) so got to use a bucket to empty the sink, or my sink will over flow. After first time emptying the sink I did test the spout for the reverse osmosis and looks like it leaks (idk if set up wasn't done correctly) and turned the cold water off tightly. Once the pipe was fixed, they couldn't unclog the pipe and was able to only snake 3 ft of it (so they charged me about $180 ish dollars instead $300 for it since they couldn't unclog it, but since they snaked it, they still worked on it. Was told that they come back Monday 03/04/2024 and would work on it but would be a new project and estimated price would be $300-$350. What got to me is I did call the number next day (Saturday 03/02/2024 at 9AM) and spoke to a lady (forgot the name) and told her recent work and pipes leaking and the issue and need some one to come out to least fix the issue, since Monday they will work on the other pipes. Lady was rude and said we have no technicians right now, and I'll see when one opens up and basically hung up on my face. Oh yeah no one called back that whole day, so for the time being I'm just going to wait for Monday for the appointment and try to handle the damage control. Hopefully Monday they can fix the previous issues they did on Friday without extra charge (total cost so far is $825 and Monday we shall see). If every thing goes well, I will edit this review (since I know mistakes do happen). I unexpectedly ran into a problem installing my new bathroom vanity, sink, and water lines; so, my project came to a halt. I was calling around to see if a plumber could come over that day and replace my hot and cold water valves along with adding some copper piping and replacing my drain with a new one to connect to my sink, but no one was available. I called the Johnson Bros and they came over within 5 hours, examined my situation, gave me a temporary fix, then came back the next day and did the entire job for me from start to finish. Initially, I was very pleased with this company. They replaced a kitchen faucet (I purchased), and replaced a kitchen drain that had rusted. They replaced it with PVC. These things were done in August. Fast forward to January, the drain was leaking. Tried to contact three times, finally sent a text. They came out to repair, completely redoing it. I bought a new stacked washer/dryer on Saturday morning, so I reached out to Johnson Bros to see if they could help disconnect the gas line from my existing dryer, redirect the gas line, and install the new machine. I confirmed with him Monday morning at 8am and he said he could come by at 12pm, but got there even earlier at 11am. Job was done professionally and quickly.
