He told me he would give me call back when he was able to stop over. He called back and said he would be over within the hour and he was. We went over what I wanted done and he pointed out a few drain issues I might have and how to fix them. I explained that I would like to have it done no later than the end of September and I was going to be gone the second week of Sept and I wanted to be there when they were doing the job. He said that would be no problem. They had other projects they had scheduled during that time. He gave me his bid it was better than the others I had. So, I signed him to do the job. Harry called me after I got back from the trip. Told me they would be out there Thursday and Just let Tommy the crew leader know what we discussed and he will handle everything. Tommy called and said he would be there at 8:30 a.m. with a crew and some trucks and start removing the old driveway. They were on time and Tommy, and I discussed Harry's game plan. He then had Joe start tearing out the driveway and loading the trucks. Tommy told me he had to go to another job site, and he would be back by noon and that they were going to finish the job the same day which I was surprised by. Tommy was back before noon, and Joe was done with tearing and smoothing out the driveway. They discussed how many yards they needed, and Tommy explained to me that they were bringing in loads to pitch the driveway for better drainage and the rest of the crew were on their way, and they would finish it today. By 1 p.m. the whole crew was there, and trucks were dumping loads and they were busy as bees. Tommy was jumping on the equipment and helping. They were completely done by 5:30 p.m. I was amazed. They did a great job. Tommy ran the garden hose to check for drainage, and everything was perfect. Like Harry told me, Tommy would handle everything and he did. Great leader and team, all very respectful. My neighbors even commented on what a great job they did.
