Unfortunately, because he appears to have no assets in his name (obviously on purpose for this exact reason), recovering damages has been impossible. I was forced to take the matter to small claims court and was awarded the max allowed $7,500 judgement. But I have yet to receive any payment. Public records for the case can be found on the Charlestoncounty.gov website, just search his name. From one homeowner to another, do not hire him. I would hate for anyone to go through what I did.
