The insurance company sent the reimbursement check to Activity and they sent part of my reimbursement to me. They kept part of my reimbursement to "balance bill" which is against their contract with Medicare and Ultimate The math is simple. The walker cost me $260. I have a deductible of $52. The insurance company sent Active a check for $55.56 and I am owed 152.44. Instead, they sent me a check for $111. and I can't get anyone to talk to me about the balance. Up until this point, their customer service has been excellent but I am upset this process has taken so long.

After that, communication again became nonexistent. I received no response regarding next steps for the refund despite repeated outreach. She had the perfect mix of humor (yes, some delightfully corny jokes), warmth, and knowledge. More importantly, you could tell she truly loves these horses and what she does. She made everyone feel comfortable, safe, and engaged the entire time. Walking the horses into the water--and even getting to experience them swimming--was surreal. Each horse had its own personality, which made it even more fun. You could tell they were relaxed, confident, and happy to be there. It didn't feel forced or transactional--it felt like a partnership between humans and animals. There are also drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) for purchase as well as personalized golf balls. Sometimes there are coupons and that can help save some money. The people working were very helpful with sizing the clubs and finding the balls we wanted. The course is pretty big and laid out in a way that's easy to follow. The theming is also very cute with the pirates all around. The area with the gators is pretty smelly, but once you're past that it's a nice experience overall, and it's still fun to look at the gators!
